Why do people like Riverdale?
I've watched all the episodes and honestly I don't get why it's so popular. Season 1 was great, I admit, from start to finish but season 2 has so many faults. First off the writers always change the personality of a character. Biggest example is Cheryl. Yes I know she's damaged and all (any sane person would be in her case) but it's frustrating how in one episode she's nice and mean in the next. Second some characters appear in an episode and then they disappear as if they aren't even relevant at all (Kevin, Josie, Chuck etc). I also feel the writers are too confused in what they want to do and literally change everything from one episode to the next. The amount of sub-plots that are going on creates confusion and most of them aren't resolved or haven't even been addressed to date. Also the black hood storyline. I don't want to believe it's over but judging by the fact that the Lodge story has completely taken over I can't think otherwise. It would be a poor way to end the story tbh. Also the way the black hood was shown to be so weak was frustrating (he's a serial killer and couldn't kill 2 unarmed teenagers at point blank range? That is a stupid way to send a message). Anyways I don't actually hate the show (I watch it every week infact) but I don't get why its so overhyped. Please let me know.
