I humbly agree with both these quotes being a regular gamer myself! The games that are easy to pick up and play save the hassle of learning complex mechanics and confusing controls when you can jump right into a game and enjoy it at it's fullest. This might explain why I appreciate the classic consoles so much when games were made simple back then.
As to the second quote, people become inspired from the worlds, characters and designs video game artists make! I've done some of my research papers in school that were first inspired from video games I played! I do feel like too much gameplay though can hinder your brain's full potential so as long as people play in moderation, video games can be a great way to find creativity, to relax, to socialize and such!

I think both have truth to them. Mastering the controls of a video game is like trying to master the concept of a career field (considering there are many professional games who make a living just by gaming). And yes, there had to be creative mind to develop plot and stores for the games, but the players can immerse themselves in the experience and imagine being in a different world.
I don't know much about video games really nor have I thought deeply on them. Though, I'll try. Both the quotes are true in their own ways. The first one, though, is more true. It really is hard to master a game. You need that full concentration, determination. Strategy to master the game. Yes there are many who can master that particular game. But there are even more who know just how to play that game and aren't able to master it. As for the second quote, it depends on what type of game it is. If it's a duplicate of a current game then there isn't much creativity involved but if it's a whole new game with a while new concept then there's a tremendous amount of creativity involved and the players would rather love the latter.

Sure. The first one is pretty true, especially now days where there is a lot more hand holding to make sure you understandv what's going on. The second one is hit or miss, it really depends on the game. A puzzle adventure would be much more likely to do so than say a sports game.
As the national best in 2 games, I can agree with it. However "easy to learn" is not clear enough, learn what? The basics? The mechanics? The map layout? What exactly is supposed to be easy to learn?
I can't really say much about gaming
I used to be a gamer, Sometimes I do a crazy things ( I am not really good)
But when I do put my mind into it , I make wonders lolz
Those quotes are goodIf you have to start going by quotes put the game down
