It is time to equalize the imbalance of gender nudity - More Male Nudity
I like movies showing more women nude than men

I'm not exactly sure how much more nude guys can get in movies and shows, and both genders expose an equal amount of flesh these days.
We see plenty of women topless in movies and shows, and we see plenty of men topless as well. In fact I would safely say that on average there are more men topless in movies and shows than women. Topless men are actually far more accepted than females being topless.
As for breasts verses chests, well it's all about perspective. Some sexualize female breasts more than male's but we're both seeing the same amount of skin, in the same areas, nipples and all. You can't make it anymore equal unless you magically give men breasts too. Do man boobs count?
Enough of that, how about the rest of the body?
Just as equal. Through the years I have seen about the same amount of stomachs, backs and butts from both genders.
The only part of the body that is still generally off limits are the actual genitals... So let's talk about that.
In all the movies and TV shows (outside of porn of course) how many penises have you seen on the screen?
Probably not many, but I can honestly say that I have seen far more penises on screen than I ever have seen of vaginas. In fact I can't recall one single instance where there was a clear view of a vagina in a show or film unless it was some medical documentary.
Sure you get your scenes of a girl standing naked with nothing on, etc., but what you see is the public bone and some public hair. Every camera angle and every movement is designed in such a way that you never see the vagina.
You can't do that with a penis though, so it's out there for all to see... So women have the advantage there. Their genitals are obscured, the man's not so much.
Apparently you can see Chris Pines' wang 2 or 3 times in Outlaw King alone.
How about the show Outlander? There's plenty of sex scenes in that show and goes into a hell of a lot of detail. The only thing you don't see from both genders are the genitals once again.
Apparently it seems to be a no no for showing a guy in a movie or show with an errection. Take from that what you will... But considering that you can often see a guys penis in many shows and the amount of body exposed of both genders is about equal... Yet one never sees a vagina... I think the argument for showing more male nudity is flawed.
In fact, technically speaking, there is more male nudity going on than female nudity.
Its more accepted to see a man's bare chest than a woman's and it's more accepted to see a man's junk on screen than a woman's hoo ha.
Women get to see penises perfectly fine... Guys get some pubes to look at.
Again, I am not sure exactly where you get this basis that there is less male nudity and that men should be exposing more on screen.
What else is there to expose... Our Anus?
No.. Go watch porn.
One reason you might find more naked women than men in movies is because things like clothes and adornments symbolize worth and status. Men typically want to be at the top of the male hierarchy. Stripping a man of clothing is like seeing the emperor without any clothes. You reduce the illusion of the man to be as common as anything else.
Women on the other hand are often valued for their looks and symbolise prize. A naked woman compliments a man's figure.
That and society also exults women, with association to prize, as emblems depicting the cultures collective success. The more adorned the women, the greater the culture. It is in a way to promulgate racial or national supremecy. A beautiful naked woman has the same effect.
Spartacus and game of thrones showed a fair few penises between them. Obviously the rule being it has to be flaccid and as far as I’m concerned you can have as many naked guys as you want on tv, same with women as long as they have a bush
Oh hell no. I do not want to see naked men any more than I want to see naked women. They should put a stop to nudity in movies completely, where it doesn't add anything to the plot. It's just completely stupid.

I've seen a lot of movies.
There actually is quite a bit of naked penises in movies definitely not as much as naked women.
I think now with the internet though people can look at nudity at any time.
Not sure if there's as high of a demand for it in movies, not sure.
I don't even look for movies with nudity anymore really.
I wouldn't care if they had more penises or not as long as they're realistic and not prosthetic and giving people some false ideal.
I'm all for nudity I guess.
I fully support Emilia Clarke's 'Free the Penis' Campaign.
If you're going to have women bare their breasts at the frequency with which the women in GoT do, then you need to even it up a little, show more dicks. I mean, besides Hodor's gigantic (prosthesis) member or that guy who was checking his dick for herpes (really?).
Seems rather hypocritical, since she doesn't do nude scenes any more.
@MarketData Perhaps that's the reason why she doesn't do nude scenes in GoT anymore. Who knows.
Perhaps if more women got into film producing and directing we might..
I struggle to see too many typical heterosexual male Hollywood directors sitting through a whole day's filming staring at some guy's dick unless it's absolutely necessary for the story. Lol.
I don't really care about #1. But "deserve" ? BrianMerritt got it right- o one deserves anything in life. If nudity furthers a plot line or sets a stage, then I can live with it (think Schindler's List). Otherwise - if it is just superficial and for "show- then no, it shouldn't be in there.
Nobody DESERVES anything.
If there was a market for it then the movies would get made by people wanting to make money of the demand for them. I think the lack of male nudity simply points to the fact that it is not really what the majority of moviegoers want to see.
It should be equal. But let's not do that buy adding more male nudity, let's make it equal by subtracting female nudity.
The reality is, most women don't get turned on by nude men unless it's their husband or boyfriend.
Seeing a nude man doesn't do the same thing for her, as seeing a nude woman does for a man.
So to answer your question, NO
Just go watch forgetting Sarah Marshall, its hilarious and has all the uncomfortable male nudity you could ever want lol
There is always naked girls in movies. Guys need to feel uncomfortable as I have for all these years.
Who cares about nudes in movies other than porn? Plus, I rarely see nude females in movies. In fact, I have seen way more movies who were confident about full male nudity yet only showed breasts for women.
Should be less nudity for both. The old movies were better , they made you imagine what happened. Now movies have no plot, no meaning, and just use sex scenes to get people to watch. However , movies G rated make more money than R rated movies.
There is less men nudity in movies because women don't really appreciate it. They find arousing in scenarios, with their imagination, by reading, etc... And let's say it like it is : a naked woman has so much more to look at lolol
There is no inbalance in terms of nudity, sorry, not sorry.
Don't you mean more female nudity to equalize the imbalance? Unless you're watching lesbian porn or cheesy 80's slasher flicks, there's generally more male nudity.
Girls don't liked dick pics, why do they want to see it in movies?
It's only fair. In RL girls and guys spend about the same amount of time naked and movies should reflect that. Not that I went to see naked guys, just a matter of fairness.
I don't want to see male nudity.
I am fine with nude women, but not in sexual scenes or scenes that doesn't NEED nudity.
more nudity the better, we need more nc-17 movies, what better way is there to get it other than having more nudity?
I have been complaining about this for years! I say bring it on!!! Big time
No, because men enjoy the nude women more than women enjoy the nude men. There has been so so so many studies about this. Google it. Otherwise, movie directors would had done it years ago.
