My friend and her dad used to watch that all the time... It used to come in right after the soap operas her and her mom watched... We've lost a lot of great ones in 2020 and here's now sadly added to that list 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Honestly I do not like any game shows. I grew up when they were I guess a fad/thing? He was honest real and actually made it easier to bear when my grandmother decided that she wanted to watch. I also hear he lived a modest life and gave a lot to charity.

Very sad. He was a great host.

And I think the timing of his death is interesting, given that Sean Connery, his arch-nemesis on SNL's Celebrity Jeopardy sketches, passed on not long before this.

"We meet again, Trebek." Probably the first thing Sean Connery said to him.

Yeah, his last appearance on Jeopardy was October 29, 2020 ... The new episodes don't run out until Dec 2020... So don't know who will take over Jeopardy cause Alex Trebek was the best and very intelligent?

So sad, Jeopardy is literally the only game show i watch. He has been fantastic since 1984. I hope he is at peace and no longer in pain, and i hope his family is ok.

i never liked how arrogant he was, acting like he personally knew the correct answers on the most esoteric topics he had printed on the card right in front of him, then treating contestants like they were stupid if they got it wrong or even mispronounced it
