That statue is known as "Modesty" by Antonio Corradini 1752

When you spend decades perfecting your ability to carve marble, you can make some amazing statues. Another one that comes to mind is the veiled virgin by Giovanni Strazza. It's a little easier to differentiate from a person because it's just a head.

It depicts Hades abducting Persephone to take her as his wife in the underworld. The title is a little misleading, because in this context rape meant abduction, because she was married off by her Father.

prettttttttty sure that's a real woman that got turned to stone. probably Medusa. She was a nasty thing. Always turning people to stone just like that.

Yeah, she's not the only one who could turn someone to stone. I was gonna let a guy see my boobs one time and he refused saying " No I can't. My mom told me if I ever saw something like that I'd turn to stone and I feel something getting hard already!"
