I love that lady’s music 💗 I think it’s just iconic cuz it’s a good song but it’s self destructive Amy definitely needed the rehab had her father encouraged her to go I wonder how the song would have went and how her life story would have played out.
I appreciate how realistic Amy is with her lyrics! Everything she sang about was her real life and she shared it with whoever listens to her music.
isn't it ironic?
it's not ironic if she was telling you exactly what her problem was
ironic would be if she was perfectly healthy and ran a rehab to help others with addiction, then she dies of an overdose
disagree: She said she did not need rehab. She died of a drug overdose.
all addicts say they don't need rehab
The song was indicative of where Amy was at the time, and she was by no means the first songwriter to wash her dirty linen in public. Perhaps in an alternate universe Amy did attend rehab, and is still with us? I'm reminded of Ozzy Osbourne's song Suicide Solution, a song not about suicide but alcohol addiction.
Sadly, quite ironic. She needed rehab badly.
