What kind of book would you write?

A story about a thief or pirate who, through a series of events, discovers that he is actually a member of a royal bloodline or clan which was cleverly infiltrated and deposed, leaving the kingdom open for invasion and destruction.
It would be his story of discovery, his rise to power, his descent into madness, tyranny, murder, and greed, his fall and exile, but ultimately, his redemption and rise.
I haven't decided on the setting yet. One version is on Earth some time after an apocalyptic war, somewhere between 500 and 1,000 years into the future; if it were that version, the Catholic Church would somehow have a role in the story (since I'm Catholic myself 😆). Another version would be in outer space or a far off galaxy.
I have a lot of ideas. I just haven't had time to organize them 😞
Thank you! Imagine if you could, a weird combination of European history, Church history, Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, and a couple of others. That's basically what it could be compared to.
If I may ask your opinion, which setting would you probably find more intriguing?
I have a rough draft for a book that's a sort of historical fiction/YA novel, amd a few other ideas for books that range from Sci-fi to Romance to Suspense/Horror. I doubt any of them will ever be published, beyond be printing a few copies for myself, but I'm having fun writing them
I’m currently writing three books (with another more planned). 1. murder mystery book 2. poetry book 3. Introduction to bipoc lgbtq+ issues, history, and terminology for cishet white people. And the one I got planned are 4. Autobiography til 25 so my story gets out there and helps all the little trans women of color that need a role model and somebody to relate to what they’re going through
I'm working on it. But it's personal and not something I talk about to many.
I like non-fiction more than fiction, but I've read that turning personal stories, memoirs, etc., into fiction, sells better. No one cares about memoirs etc. from unknown people.
I'll add that memoirs of unknown people may seem un important but over time they can have historical significance.
I highly doubt Anne frank thought her diary would be a literary standard like it is when she wrote it. So just because you aren't well known doesnr mean you memoir would be completely forgotten

I mostly just write anything with a dark theme that will have some death in it at least. Whether it be a fantasy of a Queen, a story of a Cult, twisted love or whatever else.
Well at the moment, i am writing a story of a Kommiust Queen. Sorta a contradiction but not. She's kinda a mixture of all. Cares for her people, kinda mad due to her experiences, dedication to not been like her farther mostly why she has a strong thing ageist capitalism, she does want the power but only cause she's never had it before and wants it to help people. But she also has brutality and extreme way of doing things. She's someone who can be seen as Good or bad, but either way she has blood on her hands that no one can deny.
I have other idea's for queen stuff. But this one i am actually currently working on.
For some historical examples you should research Catherine the empress of Russia she was an intellectual and would often have correspondence with famous philosophers of the day, but at the same time refused to let go of imperial control. Even though she was actively speaking with proponents of democracy and rule of law she still refused to let go of her power. I think thay dynamic could give you some ideas.
A non-fictional comedy about my love life. It would be a best seller!
Trust me, I have enough horror stories and bad experiences to write an entire book! (Not sure if that's sad or funny) It would be a guide on what not to do in dating, or how to be happy with yourself instead of thinking a relationship is the answer.
I am working on a book of poems, quotes and sayings right now. From years of reading self help and motivational books. I have a couple others started. I want to write books of hope and motivation. Like Richard Bach, Kurt Vonnegut, and the likes. Realistic and possible but far reaching.
I am a Published Playwright of "Julie's Web." Domestic Violence and a Little More in Store to Spice it Up. xx
Erotic fiction, Science Fiction, maybe Dystopian recovery, bonding, making a new life, with a little eroticism. . .
I'm writing a fiction book currently. I'm trying to incorporate as many of my views on life, society, and psychology in it. In a way, it will leave a legacy of me behind in a fun way. It will literally have my essence in its content.
I want to write a fantasy/sci Fi/romance
Where there's these race of Alien men and they look for potential love partners in human women
I want the main characters to stand out and for the book to be hot if you know what I mean.
I was previously working on a very depressing revenge tale, never finished, never got far. I liked the concept but I didn't think others would, also I found other things to write about that was easier to execute.
Action/ Fantasy fiction with lots of MAGIC! yeeesss...
But characters and their behaviors, struggles, relationships and whatnot would be the main focus.
Write a book about what? Write a book about WHAT?
https://www.youtube.com/embed/GLtGBtxdaKwDarkest SF horrors with cruel and shocking situations and subliminal messages to damage and to manipulate people's minds.
''World history for Dummies'' - with lots of humour, absurdity and sarcasm.
I DO write books. The one I'm working on right now is rich of intrigue, within a cyberpunk kind of world.
Conga series, still under development. You’ll see, there’s kind of too much stuff to sum up anyways, so just stick around for a wee longer
A book geared towards single fathers raising daughters. I have to admit it was difficult and if I had a book to help me, I would have read it and put it to good use.
Due to my personality, I wouldn't be able to keep a story serious. It would be some kind of farcical comedy involving alternate histories and all sorts of weird crap.
The joys of celibacy. Or, how to become asexual without really trying
Science fiction all the way with a little romance & murder mystery as well.
Probably something of the Noir genre it's something I've always been really good at writing, I've done a lot of short story sort of pieces like that.
I’ve always wanted to publish poetry :)
Try Rupi Kaur, even though her intended audience is mostly for women, she writes really deeply and beautifully where anyone can enjoy it.
Whatever.
It is. Sorry I had a bad day.
I don’t think too many people besides me have bad days.
It would be a coming of age/adventure story loosely based on my past experiences.
Id write a story about gangster doggies humans are on leashes and canines are the domiant species. And the protagonist wears a fedora
Already wrote one but never did anything with it. Also wrote a few short stories.
Anime horror. Anime doesn't really appeal to me, they all look the same. However, an Anime about zombie survival can hold my attention.
Self help. Why / how we wabt to control population humane way.
I want to write about my experience as a new comer in America. I am transgender so it should contain that stories too.
Probably something like 50 shades of grey... but way way better.
I would write poems or reflections on life
A historical novel.
My hometown is Jacksonville, Florida. Most of the city was destroyed by a fire in 1901. I thought that would be a great time period and a great subject for a novel, but it would probably only create local interest, at best.
An action/romance one
horror
or fantasy adventure
Mental health/coaching book.
I would write a book on self-help.
Fantasy fic- I love writing
My life as a GAG member

A fanfic or fairytale.

About my forbidden crush
I don't think I'm good at writing honestly.
