Whenever you look at a successful person, there's usually not just one thing that made their career.
She plays popular games, she plays with popular people, she's a founding member of OTV, started young and build a following early, she's consistent, pretty and funny.
If you look at other popular content creators around her, like Sykkuno, he's a decent looking guy, who's funny, but a major part of why he blew up must have been because Lilypichu, also from OTV started inviting him to games. If you're funny and you're in the right circles, you get a pretty good boost.
Do her looks help? Definitely. There was a period where the chat would explode each time she turned around and her butt was slightly visible. But there's thousands of pretty streamers who haven't gotten as successful.
