Did you list food festivals first for a reason? lol. I am alway up for food and music festivals. In Baton Rouge every Friday during the summer they do a live at five. Local bands play downtown starting at 5:00 pm with dancing in the streets.
mole sauce is not just a hot salsa sauce no... lol
but, it is still a sauce, yes
and it is a very particular kind of sauce because it is very rich in flavors, and there's at least 40 different variants in which you can make this sauce... and the list of ingredients can go from 12 to 30 different ingredients so it's quite the mix...
" What Is Mole Sauce?
While a Google search might turn up photos of small furry garden pests, traditional Mexican mole sauce is something completely different (thank goodness). First of all, it’s pronounced MOH-lay, and it’s generally used in the U. S. to describe a particular type of sauce, one spiced with earthy, rich flavors.
In the minds of many, chocolate is the ingredient that has come to define mole—but there are actually over 40 different forms of the sauce and some of them don’t even include chocolate!
What Does “Mole” Mean? The reason for the variety of types of mole is that the word “mole” derives from the Aztecs’ molli (or mulli), which just means “sauce.” So if you hear anyone refer to “mole sauce” (as I did above) feel free to tell them they’re being redundant.
Mole is a true melding of New World and Old World flavors. Think: chocolate, fruit and a number of spices. Chocolate gets the attention, but its flavor should never dominate.
A properly done mole takes hours (sometimes even days) to prepare, with as many as 30 individual ingredients prepped in different ways. The ingredients are ground together into a powder or a paste that creates a seamless layering of complex flavors. In the final product, the sauce doesn’t taste like chocolate, or chili, or garlic, or cinnamon…it tastes like mole."
Yeah ours has got cultural buildings, music, live bands, concerts, tons of food via restaurants and trucks, it's got art, alcohol, games, rides, religion, everything basically.
Where I live there is a beer and music festival. It’s usually around my birthday. And then there is one in Jamaica I go to every once in a while. It’s, not alcohol, and no meat.

Only thing like that I really go to is the state fair since it's got everything that any one of those festivals would have.
Oh i didn't realize
Yeah ours has got cultural buildings, music, live bands, concerts, tons of food via restaurants and trucks, it's got art, alcohol, games, rides, religion, everything basically.
Crowds, ugh... the online festivals, yeah that sounds good to me. I haven't really been to a lot so not sure what my favorite is.
I would like to go to a food festival.
But... Apparently after you pay for the pass to get in you still need to pay for all the food and they can crank up the prices as much as they want.
Car shows (: especially classic exotic cars like Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ferrari and so on…
But I do enjoy modern car shows and concept shows as well!
Rum festival was good *hic*
But they changed it to only let you have a limited number of samples. :(
Thats a good thing lmao
