Do you think Robert Pattinson was a good choice to be the Batman?

I thought that the kid who was in those vampire movies was a strange choice. I have not seen this movie yet but will see it when it comes out on DVD.

I think Ben Affleck was a good 50 year old Batman. It is hard to think of somebody else playing that role.

I watched the movie. I really did not expect to like it at all. It started off slow butt it drew me in after the first 45 minutes. He is kind of creepy looking to be Millionaire Playboy Bruce Wayne but he got better as the movie went on. The thing I did not like was how dark everything was. Lots of times you could barely see what was going on. I suppose they do this to save money on scenery.

No. I could easily kick Robert Pattison's ass and he's only six feet tall, 160 pounds. (And even if he bulked up for the role, wouldn't be much more than that; maybe 200, let's say.)

I've not liked ANY of the live-action Batman's in movies. All of them sucked in my opinion and did not get Bruce Wayne or Batman right, at all. The only A-list actor in Hollywood who could've done Bruce Wayne right in acting talent and playing a well-put together psycho with a genius intellect would've been mid to late 2000's Jon Hamm. But unfortunately, he's now too old for the role, even though he was the ONLY guy in Hollywood who could've pulled off an accurate Bruce Wayne, in my opinion.

Batfleck was dogsh*t; I don't care what anyone else says.
Patman is even worse than him.
And Christian Bale was overrated AF; Nolan did a decent job on the movies (even if they're super-inaccurate to the actual lore), but Bale was NOT a good Batman!

he is too skinny for the role. Christian bale did very well as batman as he has a buff muscular build sharply defined as he has very little fat on it. a lot of shirtless scenes to show bales build off in batman. I'm guessing Robert will not be shirtless and they will use a rubber suit designed to make him look muscular.

He was cery dull in Twilight bt he was cool in Water for Elephants and some other stuff. Either way, Batman is not importan enough for me to ever see in theaters. I’ll wait til it hits tv cause im just watching for Colin Farrell and Zoe Kravitz

Ok, so I saw The Batman yesterday. It was incredibly slow but really good. Pattinson was bad but he wasn’t as awful as I predicted he’d be. I didn’t care for “his” version of the character but it could also have been led by the director. There were a couple of scenes where I had to stop myself from saying, “Batman would never do that.” But it was mostly a grunt or an expression that didn’t seem sincere.
Also, (since it’s not a spoiler) I was thrilled with Bruce Wayne’s car. The Batmobile surprised me. But neither of those things are necessarily related to the actor that played Batman. He was meh.

2 batmans are and will be the greatest. Michael Keaton and Christian Bale. And we already gave enough batman movies, DC has like 100+ heroes, make other movies beside the usual ones for god's sake. DC comics are better than Marvel's bit the movies are so bad i don't bother spending time on them anymore

I'm a fan of Pattinson since Goblet of Fire.
I guess I'll be cheering on Cedric for the rest of my life.
I liked the old TV show batman.
The batman movies made him so cartoony.
And this "if I kill a killer then the number of killers in the world remains the same."

He was a good pick for the type of Batman they were going for. I don't see him being part of a justice league but for a young Batman who still spends every waking moment fixating on his parents.. he did great.

Yeah, I think he was a good choice for batman. The things I didn't like about the film weren't acting or casting-related. They were more related to certain inclusions I feel would have made it a better film. But I rate the movie a 7+ out of ten.
