Not scarred for life, but seeing one of the Poltergeist movies (1 or 2) when I was a little kid freaked me out. A bunch of fucked up stuff happened on the set during filming those movies, and to the actors in those movies after filming them. They say there's "the curse of Poltergeist" and there have even been a couple documentaries made about it. One of the most creepy movies I ever saw is The Shining with Jack Nicholson.
I think some people are still a bit unaware of what evil lurks in our world, I also apologize if I offended you before, it wasn't my intention, I probably should have mentioned that my sensitivity filter is broken, I can say something that can offend someone and I'll have a hard time filtering what I wanna say, it can come out wrong.
Hey, it's okay. Nobody's perfect. What matters is you realize it on your own when you've said something/done something that affected someone and you don't mind apologizing for it. I knew you never wanted to offend me. So, I can't be mad at you for too long and I appreciate your apology. So, it's all good. I still think you are one of the nicest people on here and funniest, too.
Thanks, I keep my ego under control, when I know I fuck up, I don't got a problem apologizing for it, I just don't want you thinking I'm targeting a specific race cause I'm not, it's just from what I've experienced, I wish it was different lol
The grudge To some others, it may not be that scary but the fact that she can literally come out of any existing object is just freaky enough for me. I was afraid of that movie for years and kind of still is even at 23.

Not for life but I certainly seen some that chocked me enough to have hard to sleep that night. The Saw movie did it for me because I identified with the people in those situations and that was a horrible situation to be in.
Oh don't worry I can hold your hand no actually is a good survival movie at that time it was pretty intense it still is you should watch it it was fuckingawesome.
At least you didn't have nightmares.๐ฌ I had nightmares for years after watching some movies and I was scared to go to the bathroom at night everytime I'd watch a scary movie ๐คฃ

Not sure if I may be a psychopath or that perhaps I am to depressed to feel something emotionally, but whenever I see a horror movie, it doesn't fright me at all.
You need to understand that, when "Jaws" came out, movies were never the same after that. I am not kidding. It changed how films were made and promoted and seen.
TITLE: โJawsโ Is Still Devouring Us. SOS! SUBTITLE: In 1975, this thriller freaked out the world, scaring us out of the water and creating the summer-blockbuster template. It was also a warning.

The shark was right. With apologies to the skinny-dipper chomped in half, the shark was only being a shark and its teeth were so very sharp, her flesh so very tender. And given the harm weโve inflicted on the planet, didnโt we deserve some punishment? When the great beast swam out of the unfathomable waters and onto screens in the summer of 1975, it stirred up anxiety that was doubtless tinged with guilt. โSee it before you go swimming,โ the trailer warned, tapping into our worries while making the case for moviegoing. We had many reasons to hide in the dark.
The wave-making Leviathan of summer blockbusters, โJawsโ changed the way Hollywood did business and how people went to movies. It also changed some peopleโs relationship to the ocean. โYou wouldnโt go into the water,โ my sister recently reminded me, when I asked about a 1970s family trip to Marthaโs Vineyard, where much of the film was shot. ...
Teeth. It's about rape. If a guy tries to rape the girl, her vagina bites his dick off. The only guy it won't bite off is the guy she's truly in love with.
nightmare on elm street. saw it when i was 8. had nightmares about freddy kreuger for years and he kills you in your nightmares in the movie so... it was very realistic!
I saw on the TV one time a film I think the title was, the dark eyes of London, it was a black and white film, so old the star was Bella Luscado or something like that
Awww, it's okay. I couldn't finish watching many horror movies as I was too scared. Better to get up and leave than finish it and have nightmares every night ๐
Woah!!! ๐ฐ That's creepy as hell. I'll definitely avoid watching this movie. Thank you, girly. ๐ณ I'm sorry to hear that! I used to have nightmares a lot while growing up. Almost every night then I started distracting myself before I sleep by listening to nice and soothing songs or watching sitcoms or comedy movies or reading a fascinating novel. That worked most of the time! Maybe try that. ๐ณ
Ya fr creepy lol. Also yeah I watched some movie that had her in it but canโt remember the name it was with some friends during Halloween. Worst decision ever. Thereโs a few doll movies tho

If you want the cruelty in the real world, you grow an immune to fear any of the things that are made up.
Watch*
As kids... we weren't aware of the cruelty in the real world, though.

This was before my time but it was called the trigger effect it came out in the 90s and well see it for yourself.
I am curious but I'm too scared to even google it, lol
Oh don't worry I can hold your hand no actually is a good survival movie at that time it was pretty intense it still is you should watch it it was fuckingawesome.
Not for life no, but the original Carrie scared the crap out of me for quite a while.
Shit! I shouldn't have googled it. ๐ถ
I mean I was young when I saw it and it seriously had me looking over my shoulder for a good couple of months.
At least you didn't have nightmares.๐ฌ I had nightmares for years after watching some movies and I was scared to go to the bathroom at night everytime I'd watch a scary movie ๐คฃ

Or maybe you're a tough person. Either way, I'm glad you aren't at least scarred for life.๐ฌ
I think special effects kills horror movie. The movie industry doesn't leave much to be afraid of.
"Jaws" definitely curtailed my desire to swim in the ocean - and even my inground pool, for awhile.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/WHW2L1_SjwMI was 12 when it came out.
This could have been me.

No but when I was 9 this story scared the crap out of me:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/U-f9PDmCY78This really creeped me out
Hahaha I remember that
When I was in college, there was a squirrel with its' tail missing that always creeped me out. Now I know why.
I saw on the TV one time a film I think the title was, the dark eyes of London, it was a black and white film, so old the star was Bella Luscado or something like that
I really didnโt like the original IT. Gave me my first sleep paralysis in the early 90โs and I was not really fond of that.
Woah! I'm sorry to hear that. ๐ณ
Pet Cemetery when I was a child was pretty traumatizing. Now itโs The Hills Have Eyes.
omg definitely Veronica.. its a horror movie and it was so creepy I literally couldn't finish it 😞
What was it a talking doll?
Awww, it's okay. I couldn't finish watching many horror movies as I was too scared. Better to get up and leave than finish it and have nightmares every night ๐

Oh shoot lmao didnโt realize who that was to my bad
Yeah Iโll regret it if i look it up
@JohnK123 Lol. It's okay. It happens.
I thinks it'd be better to wait for her to come online and tell us what did she see. ๐ถ
@Genie23 omg yes so the movie is basically about a teen girl called veronica tries to contact her dead father its SO creepy ๐ณ๐ณ

@JohnK123 maybe you're talking about annabelle lol
i don't recommend either of you to watch veronica.. i literally still have nighmares about it.. ๐๐
Woah!!! ๐ฐ That's creepy as hell. I'll definitely avoid watching this movie. Thank you, girly. ๐ณ

Coraline that movie scared me so bad as a kid I'm still afraid of it to this day
Damn. I'm sorry to hear that. I'll add that movie to my blacklist. ๐ณ
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Coraline is a great movie... maybe a bit scary for kids.
The secret of harvest home.
Network TV, I was 10.
Yikes!!! The poster was enough to give me nightmares ๐จ
August Underground's mordum
God that scene where that guy's dick got slowly cut off with a nail clipper
Never went out of my head
