I went to school with Rick Balkey who became a famous stand-up comedian named, Rick Rockwell. The last thing I heard about him was a reality type show he did in the `90's or late `80's called, "Who wants To Marry A Millionaire?" He married some girl on t.. v. who's last name is, Conger (I don't recall her first name) and then she found out he was only a millionaire on paper!
My cousin's daughter is a newscaster on a t. v. station in Texas;; and Sharon Stone is my 5th cousin by marriage.
This one's probably stretching it a bit but, my ex-fiance's father was a famous author in India and, last I heard, he had 28 books out.
I've also got a modicum of fame, myself: I've got a few albums, singles and e. p.'s with my band, a comedy single I made on my own, I helped 5 people write their books and I've done voice work on a couple movies.
And, had dad actually gone through with that radio audition when he was 12, he might've been famous, too.

I forgot to mention that my ex-fiance was also in a very minor part in a Fritz Weaver - Anne Bancroft movie back in the early `90's. It was made for t. v. and, if you blinked, you missed her.
Also, a tint bit of a stretch, one of mt bass players was dating the daughter of a local famous DJ who, when The Beatles played their only concert here, allowed them to stay at his house.

And, my guitarist was dating (at the same time) one of the daughters of George Magura, the bass player for Tommy James & The Shondells. Eventually, we befriended her sister and a half-sister.
