Which of the original X-MEN members do you think had the most useful power?

This was the original team of X-men from the comics in 1963. Which of these do you think had the most useful ability?

Professor X - powerful telepath, who can read and control the minds of others.

Cyclops - emits powerful beams of energy from his eyes, and can only control the beams

Jean Grey aka Marvel Girl - telepathic and telekinetic powers.

Iceman- He has the ability to manipulate ice and cold by freezing water vapor around him. This allows him to freeze objects, as well as cover his body with ice.

Angel - possesses a pair of large feathered wings extending from his back, enabling him to fly.

Beast- ape-like superhuman physical strength and agility, oversized hands and feet, a genius-level intellect.

Well, Captain Marvel wasn’t part of the original X-Men, certainly not in the films anyway, so I guess, given that, the girl who could change into any other person or form would certainly be the MOST useful of their superpowers. (And yes, I’m well aware that the ability to read minds, would make one extremely valuable in corporate mergers, take-overs etc…) To be able tell whether the CEO of the other company is hiding anything! It would also be invaluable in picking a jury in a high profile trial, and one would very quickly become a multi millionaire with that skill! However being able to read the every fleeting thought of your partner or spouse may reveal random thoughts that meant nothing to them, but could hurt the mind readers feelings immensely. So while there is a financial up-side to that power, the down-side is just TOO unbelievably bad, to ever actually want that power! Who the hell wants to hear the thoughts of everyone you work with and discover that despite everyone being outwardly very polite to you, nobody can stand to be in your presence? That would just be too painful to bear!

Well Captain Marvel is actually different from 'Marvel Girl.' Captain marvel gets her powers from an alien device while Marvel girl is just jean Grey and her powers come from her genetic makeup. Marvel Girl was just her old name from the 60s and pretty quickly fell out of style lol. all she did is just read minds and move objects with her mind.

Jean.. I have a bunch of old comic books from that time frame. My dad died last year and I had to take his things. These old remote control trucks too from I don't know when but they are old.

It's got to be Xavier, because he's the only mutant with 100% control of his own powers AND 100% control of most other mutant's powers. With Cerebro, he can locate and mind control thousands of beings simultaneously.

Jean Grey usually has trouble controlling her powers, so hers are less useful. Even though her maximum potential is the 5th most powerful being in Marvel Universe, she often fails to even lift a human sized object.

Iceman is the second most powerful of those characters in terms of raw power, but he too lacks control. He is actually powerful enough to destroy the entire Earth with absolute zero temperature if he wanted to do that.

While super man had laser eyes he could see people naked why could Scott see people naked lol? I never understood he also has laser power in his eyes.

And xray vision must make him to see skeleton.
