Everyone is going to think I'm freaky weird, but I'll have to say "Tremors." First time I saw it, I was maybe 8 or 10... we were camping at the Sand dunes for a vacation. ATV's and all...

I'm not sure I'd consider it a cult classic but the setup was great, my dad setup a TV outside... after dark, started the generator to run the TV and all to power it.

By the time the Generator gets sucked into the ground, in the movie. I'm frozen and won't move, cause I don't want them to find me.

There was a movie called "To Jonah, who will be 25 in the year 2000" which, alongside 2001 and arguably 2010, is the only movie to have "2000" in its title and yet not suck.

Death Race 2000 was not a good movie, but it was enjoyably bad. I think Interstate 60 is my favorite, though. It didn't do well enough to be a "cult classic", though; more of a "fringe lunatic classic" (the bizarre choice of cover art did NOT help). But I'm slowly gathering more recruits.

I was with you all the way through the first have of From Dusk Till Dawn. Unfortunately, Robert Rodriguez did what he so often does and made the second half of the movie completely awful, despite starting out strong. I feels like a movie where Tarantino wrote and directed the first half, and RR the end. So much wasted potential.

Great selection and a reminder of ones I still need to see. Love The Nightmare Before Christmas something about the style, songs and Jack & Sally is just fantastic. The Lost Boys, The Breakfast Club, The Goonies, The Holy Grail and From Dusk Till Dawn are all great with their own flavors gotta rewatch them again sometime soon. True Romance is just so incredible such memorable dialogue and masterclass scenes of acting so glad I stumbled upon it so many years back! But, great stuff and the rest I still need to see; thanks for sharing!

I have the CD as well. But know that Hanz Zimmer ripped off You're So Cool from a 100+ year old classical song, that was just slightly changed. He tends to do that a lot. I still love the song, though.

The Thing (1982)
The Warriors (1979)
Evil Dead II (1987)
True Romance (1993)
The Crow (1994)
and I don't know if this would count but I love it

Once Upon A Time In The West (1968)

But, great question haven't heard of Vanishing Point but I'll have to add it to the watch list as well as others I haven't seen on this page.

@MrOracle judging by how women watched gone with the wind, I figured it was a cult. Like the kentucky derby, you see all those women wearing strange hats and such. cult!
Ok... I'd say night of the living dead! I saw every weird hacker movie in the 80's an fuzzy vhs and beta and "disc".
There's nothing like watching that movie then having mom call us all in for "spaghetti dinner". crazy times...

Red Dawn is a great entertaining flick and can't go wrong with such a stellar cast! Yeah the action in The Warriors was awesome all the fights and confrontations are so memorable and the styles of the gangs, soundtrack and atmosphere just bleed personality!
