For people who didn't see the Original Trilogy or pay attention to the details, Did people know Anakin becomes Darth Vader before Revenge of the Sith?

Did you see anakin and vader as two separate characters/

when i was little i kinda had like a psychosis about it and i still kinda do.

basically Anakin Skywalker was the jedi hero and darth vader was the sith villian he tragically becomes but there like different people and anakin magically morph into him but before he turn evil i pretend like i dont even know and anakin is just the cool jedi hero Guy much like the people in the actual movie universe

He was the protaganist and the guy I followed.

I didn't see him becoming Darth Vader. i just saw Anakin. and I was surprised when i was responded.

sometiems I even forgot that anakin become vader.

i woud jsut see him as the Anakin Guy.

I watched the clone wars and I wouldn't even think about this just that he is the cool jedi hero guy.

and the I had a republic toy or comic book thing in my house and there was Anakin/Vader picture and I was like lowkey think what if anakin and vader are the same person and then I was like noo there not naww there not and then i was like oh yeah they are

I really doesn't know who Darth vader was. I just thought a napkin was possessed or something
And it was sad
