I don't think you can compare great acting between a multi-season series and a single film. Not to take away from Starr, but with a series you can show off more nuances and add to the character.

Like comparing Hopkins' Hannibal in the films, and Mikkelsen's in the series.

Heath's joker for me is the perfect incarnation of Joker.

No cringey forced laughter. Plus the makeup actually looks like if someone applied it themselves. Thugs follow him because of ideals, not money.

Not a fair comparison. The writers and Starr have had way more time to develop Homelander. I think Ledger did more with less, but he’s by far NOT my favorite Joker. He’s not even top 3.
