I do think that for the truly enthusiast of the cinema experience, it might be worth... for those who actually enjoy watching a brand new movie with a lot of people who are really into the experience of it, must be still a great feeling

my best friend is like that lmfao... and he's into super hero movies and other fantasy novels made into movies like LoTR, and he has always had a great great time when I new one comes out, even if he doesn't like it very much is worth for him, lol... because he will make most of it or the most he can out of it

I am different... I'm not interested on all those big blockbusters, and I am not really that much into cinema crowds either, I am more of a casual "movie goer" so for me, I just see the not so good side of things "too expensive, too loud people, too annoying, the place is never clean enough, who the fuck is touching me? WTF" lol, but even then. if the movie is good enough, I will have a good time most of the times

nowadays, I only or usually go to the movies as the adult that is taking a bunch of nieces, nephews or little cousins and that's nice, that's still fun to me... and for the kids it is very much worth it, because they get to play around, and they get to eat a bunch of junk food and they're with friends, and they're enjoying the big ass screen and incredible sounds systems which is a great way to see a movie, especially for them

there might be other options to cinemas but no other option will offer the key things that a cinema still offers for those who are enthusiast about it, lol

I have not been to a theater in over 3 years. There is a new one being built in my town and I might go when it open's in a few months.

Chinese funded movie theaters demanded woke movies. No one wants to watch woke movies, so Chinese funded movie theater companies go out of business.

I love movies at home so much more! The only time I would go is a very major once in a decade blockbuster in IMAX 3D with all the bells and whistles!

I think the advent of inexpensive home projectors and greynet streaming sites have made movie theaters obsolete.
