What a deep feeling of nostalgia... who remembers and misses the NBA on NBC growing up in the 90's and the NBC theme for the NBA?

Wow. Growing up in the 90's was a hella fun for me.

I grow up watching grown tough men playing basketball and NFL football the tough way unlike the sissy athletes we have now.

The NBA on NBC with sweetheart Hannah Storm, Marv Albert, the legends Bob Costas and super funny Bill Walton and Steve Snapper Jones calling games along with Ahmad Rashad and Peter Vecsey doing sideline reporting.

What a incredible era for the NBA. Watching my Miami Heat playing against the hated New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers along with other great rivalries on NBC on Sunday prime games.

Well considering My Bulls 6 rings in 8 years. YEAH, you could say the 90's was an enjoyable time for me.🤣

This back when the game wasn't just shooting 3 point shots. I'm not saying players don't play defense at all or that players don't have a desire to win. But the NBA has removed all physicality from the game. You feel like you're watching a professional game of H. O. R. S. E.

I did not watch much of the NBA nor played basketball either... but I certainly remember all the hype about Jordan, and also post-Jordan... with Iverson and Vince Carter

even at the soccer and football fields and games, I was hearing about Jordan of course, but also a bit of those other two... lol

I grew up among the ones who lived this era... and that's all they would argue and talk about

also, I started to watch and play games since I was 6 years old... lol

I was that 8, 9 year old... playing among those aged 12 to 16, neighbors of course

and all of my uncles and older cousins... but there were also baseball fans, of those talks, I would always walk away

Not the same. I watched it live every Sunday while growing up you didn't and if you did you were like 7 and don't remember ish nor understood the game neither.

well... just let me mention something about understanding, and also about "you're a sissy"

I learned to write and read on my own pretty much, between the ages of 3 and 4... which was way before I even finished kinder, so that should give you an idea about my "understanding capabilities"

not only that, but I also started to actually PLAY And PRACTICE both soccer, and football on the actual field, played by rules... and I did that since the age of six years old

so not only I was doing both playing it on the field and watching it on TV... I was experiencing it much more and to a deeper level than you ever did, from your couch... lol
