Trending & News I feel like all vehicles and brands have their ups and downs. Chrysler has jeep, and dodge in the same company. I’ve been told to avoid Subarus just because parts are stupid difficult to get; but that may depend on the model.
Hyundai is the one I will forever avoid, a couple years ago they had problems that slashed their resale value to the point that other dealerships were reluctant to take them and if they did they wouldn’t knock much off even if it was kept in pristine condition. I’m told they’ve improved but I still wouldn’t trust them.
Toyota and Honda are the two main contenders for my next vehicle if they have an SUV that meets my needs. And they seem to be doing well for reliability.
I currently have a Chevy so under GMC. The model I have is the shittiest one they make, but I’ve been told the company itself is good. And would consider another SUV like the Blazer providing it doesn’t have the same transmission that my current vehicle has.
Now this is an in-depth analysis.
Anything from Chrysler or their parent company Stellantis. They're not good and haven't been good for a long time.
Agreed
All Chinese clones, for example Landwind. Their BMW X5 clone is considered the worst car ever tested by German car magazines.
Chrysler and Jeep. Nissan after that, if only for the styling (or lack thereof).

Fiat which is also closely associated to the Chrysler brand
There is no brand which comes to my mind you should avoid in general.
American cars. Chrysler, Ford, GM. Any car that uses German or Japanese parts is a good buy.
@Cassie88 Germany rules Europe
Alfa Romeo. 😳
Yep, since they're made by Chrysler.
Land Rovers are a maintenance nightmare.
Jeep LOL.
Agreed
