For me it was Maroon 5

+1 yWorst in attendance? I suppose one of the Ringo Starr shows but, it WAS out in the boonies at least a 40 mile drive from this era so, it's NOT very likely people would wanna drive THAT FAR to go see him! We got there and there were so many empty seats in the place, they (from the stage) beckoned us all down front to sit near the stage so, even though our seats were about 20 rows back, we ended up in the front row staring right up Ringo's nose!!
Another "bad" one was one of the last 2 times I saw Fishbone. They were just about to launch into another song when they were told they had to get off because there was gonna be DJ's playing a dance in that room in an hour!!
I don't know if I've ever seen a bad concert that I had to pay for but, I went to see Starz and they had Rush open for them. I was NOT a fan of Rush by ANY stretch of the imagination and, the whole time they were on, I stood there, about 20' from the stage, sleeping!!
There were two gigs my band played that were TERRIBLE!! At one, they had this comedian open for us and he SUCKED!! The local "prog" radio station had been promoting the hell out of him but, I'd never heard of him before or since!! He was one of these guys that wrote funny songs but, he'd just sit on the stage in a folding chair and sing them while playing an acoustic guitar. He's, obviously, in his late 20's or early 30's but he's singing the kinds of songs you'd hear from a 6th-grader!! The only one I can remember was, The Pop Your Pimple Polka!! And, they actually played that on the radio a few days later!!
The other gig was about a mile away across the river from that place where we played an outdoor afternoon show under a trolley bridge in a stone parking lot and our opening act was a girl group that sucked beyond all belief!!! They knew THREE SONGS and they kept playing them OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! One of them was AC/DC's "Highway To Hell"!! I think they picked that because one of the girls could say, "Oy!" just like Bon Scott! I think there were 5 people in the audience!!00 Reply

+1 yI’ve enjoyed every concert I’ve gone too. Even if the act wasn’t the greatest, I still find a way to have fun.
If I had to choose the worst, it was this girl little Mariko. She’s not big or anything just some girl who had a viral song on TikTok lol. Technically it wasn’t her concert, it was a Gay Halloween bash. There were other people performing, drag queens, and it was basically a big dance party. She just happened to be the headliner. I didn’t even know who she was but I recognized one song.
She wasn’t that great a performer, was lip syncing majority of it, and her set was pretty short considering she was the headliner. Still had a good time though10 Reply
+1 yOnly ever been to one concert z if you could even call it that. It was for Reece Mastin when I was like 15. It was actually pretty good and I still enjoy his music as a throw back from time to time.
I was supposed to go to the hella mega tour which was Greenday, Fall out Boy and Weezer but the show was cancelled due to covid.
I bought tickets the other day to go see Papa Roach and The Used in April so if all goes well that will be my first actual concert.

+1 yI attended a religious festival concert and somebody dropped to the ground from a heart attack in the middle of the concert. The ushers moved the passed out person out of the auditorium and the concert continued.

+1 yI went to see a smaller alternative band 3 times when they were rising in popularity… they had some line-up changes and issues in that time period… The first time was great… original line-up… the second show however was not great. There was a fill in drummer and it just was not very good… a notable downgrade. The band wasn’t tight… and I was very familiar with their music at the time and I honestly probably could’ve played a better set for them on the spot… 😬
…and then by the 3rd time, it was another new line-up and they sounded fantastic. Back to form in a sense. But that second gig I saw them at… ooof, not so good.

u +1 yI don't know if I've been to a bad one yet, but I saw Creed back in 2012. It was just disappointing because I couldn't hear Mark Tremonti's guitar playing at all. These two drunk women next to me and my friend kept harassing us too (he got it worse than I did).
00 Reply 6.5K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I have not been to a bad concert, however I have seen the Beach Boys 3 times. I saw them at a big stadium and I saw them at a military base on the 4th of July. It was the last time Brian Wilson toured. It was awesome. I also saw them at a small local place. They were not really the Beach Boys. It was Mike Love and some session musicians. moioke Love kept forgetting the words to some of the songs but we had a great time. Everyone in the audience was singing along and dancing

+1 yI haven't been to a bad concert yet. But I've only seen country singers when they come to where we are.

10 ReplyI think I've only ever been to one concert in my life. It was alright, but nothing wow. Am not a drugs user nor a believer one must 'lose their mind' to marry (or even to have a good time - though girls seem to expect such venues to 'let loose' at - or to need to get 'slutty' to get sexual (there are virgins and those who already consumated marriage, and both types seem to keep doing what they know - one keeps consumating marriage/fucking frequently, one basically never does such things).

+1 yNot here in the USA but in the Philippines.
It was a big concert but the entire project was a flop.
The singer and her band actually got booed & heckled by the spectators.

I wish they did that here. American audiences are too polite

@KostasKouvalis
Go to a stand up comedy venue here in the USA.
There, you'll find an impolite audience & disrespectful hecklers. - +1 y
Even at sports matches

Oh, yeah, definitely!
More trouble than one could "ask" for.

Okay yeah, at those I can agree. I've been to a Jeff Foxworthy show and aside from some asshole talking on his cell phone, I didn't witness any heckling. The thing with comedians, at least A list comedians, is that most of the people who are paying to see them, are already fans of their material, so they won't get heckled like say an opening act. But sports matches, I agree. And if there's Mexican or English fans involved, you'll get a lot more than heckling.
But when it comes to musicians, unless it's some amateur opening act, people are usually fairly respectful, if the band has established credibility. George Harison's son opened for ELO and he sounded like shit, but people still applauded for him just because he's George Harrison's son. I would have thrown him off the stage.
+1 yThat you may have actually heard of? Somewhere between Livingston Taylor and little Wayne, neither of which are my cup of tea, although I've seen many far worse but ultimately small-time local bands.

Also so Van Halen after David Lee Roth completely lost his voice and some rubbish band that was a mix up of several members from older famous bands like Foghat and Wild Cherry and something else. I've seen too many concerts to remember them all, mostly from working at them and partially from doing drugs at them, including some of the ones I was working at.
+1 yThe Weeknd
The opening act was despicable, and so were the ho's in front of us dancing like strippers and grinding on each other.
We left after the first song00 Reply- 954 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic.
+1 yEddie Money about a year before he passed away. He was entertaining I'll give him that, but musically he sounded like shit! Like if he wasn't Eddie Money he'd be booed off the stage on American Idol
