What is your take on the film that won best picture, "Everything Everywhere All at Once"?

I've read reviews and recaps on this film on Youtube. I hadn't known the circles in it were symbolic; and I thank reviewers of this movie for the recaps. I left this movie, much into the mid half of the film, because I could not make out head nor tails about what it was about. However, I'm glad everyone everywhere else did understand it, and took something from it to learn about their own life experiences. I will give it another try and watch it all. I loved the movie "The Shape of Water", which was also symbolic with some objects--but I understood it as well. Not this one- but I will try again.

Great action and actors/actresses. Just didn't care for the actual political meaning behind the story

It was very disjointed in they way thy tried to portray the connection between multiverses.

I agree, totally. They could have explained what they wanted to convey in many other (and probably less expensive) ways. What they wanted to paint out was the Michelle You still loved her daughter, no matter the troubles and disagreements between them. They went through a roller coaster ride to explain that.

Hadn't even heard of it before the news reports from the Oscars last night.

I saw it in about October of last year. It was came out in 2022.

Well, it was so confusing to me (I had not seen the ending or the later half of the film) because there were so many things happening that it made me dizzy. Not to mention--there was a lot o symbolic messages that I hadn't seen. you have to understand that circles were symbolic in it--who knew? It was the 2nd time I left a movie theater. The first one was for the Northmen. Now that it has won best picture, I'll see it again and finish it. Many claim it was a masterpiece. On Youtube you can see the trailer.
