A really awesome guy was the inspiration for this question.

+1 yY’all are gonna laugh at me but Ariana Grande 💀
I’ve been following her music for almost 10 years now. I’ve already seen her live twice. I think the last time I went it was $600 for two tickets. And we were pretty close to the stage.
but I know the next time she tours, I want to get a VIP package. Either meet and greet or sound check (sound check is a pre show thing where you can do a Q&A with her) which both come with front row tickets.
those tickets are $1000+ each. But tbh they could be $2000 and I’m still getting them 💀I’ve been wanting to meet her or at least get front row tickets for her show for so long. I told myself I’m gonna get them for her next tour no matter what it costs. especially cause I have the feeling that her next tour will be her last.
I also warned my friends because a lot of them said they would go with me but I’m not downgrading my tickets for it to be affordable for them respectively.
They can get the nosebleeds and I’ll give them a wave from front row 🤪🤪🤪

I can find a better use for that money. I'd rather take that money and spend it on a full weekend of activities for me and my wife

Thanks for the mho
415 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. The Doobie brothers are going to have a concert this week near where I am. I would pay to see them.
Second would be Santana. I still have a crush on the 🥁 drummer, Mile Shrieve. The crush started when I was 15. And still, in my old age, I play the video on YouTube of them at Woodstock. Mike has a drum solo that is unbelievable for me to watch. I'm 15 years old again. That drum solo is terrific, considering he was either 19 or 20 when he did Woodstock. He had just started with Santana when Woodstock happened. He's my heart throb. I would pay that much just to watch him solo 🤪13 Reply
+1 yDead? Michael Jackson. We actually got tickets to his last ever tour but then he suddenly passed away. I guess some things are not meant to be.
Alive? I know she isn't well liked on here but I think Beyonce's a great performer. Although £1,000 may be pushing it.

1.4K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. No way max I would spend is maybe £120 with travel probably £80 if down to london so £200 and that would be to see Eminem and only if he's doing lots of his good stuff. But otherwise max I spend is £50 tickets travel is normally 20-30ish to Manchester so max would be £80 and of course I'm more inclined to go to one if it comes to my city.
Me and my bestfriend though do want to go abroad to a festival or something but that's a bit different since it's the whole experience not just a concert at where we live anyway.
And I do want to come to USA this year to see Poppy's Godless tour with pvris but that won't be me paying if it happens, that would be my step-mother who I just class as my mum now. She lives in america so I can go stay at hers.10 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yPeople these days will pay that kind of money to see a no-talent like Ariana Grande or a Taylor Swift mime to backing tracks. Yes, people standards have really dropped that low when it comes to music.
13 Reply- +1 y
I've seen Ariana Grande live in concert and I can confirm she doesn't "mime to backing tracks"
You can hate her all you like but denying her singing talent is just plain ignorance
401 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. Thats a lot of money for a concert. But I would pay 1000$ to see Freddy Mercury with Queen, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles with John Lennon, Kurt Cobain with Nirvana just to name a few. I think you know what my logic behind this is.

@Sunssong I wasn't alive for anyone of them so its not like I want them dead. I would rather have them alive but our times of being alive didn't line up. I do love other concerts too and I think there are masters of music alive today. BUT the question was if I would pay 1000$ for a concert and that is too much for me if its "just" a concert.
- +1 y
But some of them are dead. Who would you pay to see TODAY?
- +1 y
Right on, msmissydc. I read the rest of your responses and agree with your logic.
I did see Queen a couple of times.
I had a chance to see Jimi. A new friend asked if I wanted to go see him, but it was at the L. A. Forum, which seemed a bit far away and a little bit scary at the time. I was barely 16. Plus, I wasn't totally familiar with all his music yet. So I passed and said I would catch him on his next tour. A few months later he was dead.
By then I was VERY familiar with his music.
Missing that concert is one of the greatest disappointments of my life. Jimi is my greatest musical idol. - +1 y
@Lliam YOu never now what is happening or which is the last time a band plays. Next what I say please dont understand me wrong: They are not looking like they are going to die and they are still playing really well, but I was on two Iron maiden concerts. One last year and one in 2016 I think. it was hard to miss the difference in their performance. They have aged and you can tell it. Still great shows and concerts but they are getting older.
- +1 y
Oh I understand exactly what you're saying, msmissydc. All the bands I idolized in the 1970s are as old or older than me now. LOL They can still play, but some of them have mellowed, and they certainly don't put on the energetic (physical) performances that they did in their 20s.
And there are a lot who are no longer with us.
The guy who amazes me is Mick Jagger who is almost 80. His face looks old as fuck, but the guy is as athletic and energetic on stage as he ever was.

+1 yI paid a large sum for amazing seats to a Genesis concert once. It was worth it, but I wouldn't do it again.
10 Reply Nobody is worth that amount of money to spend for a concert. To quote one my uncle's frequent sayings about large expenditures: "I wouldn't pay (amount) to see a monkey f*** a football."
00 ReplyI mean it's just 1k so anybody that is at the top of the industry really. If I'm alone then I'd be more picky but with friends or loved ones it's a good time.
I'd love to see The Weeknd full acoustic set.00 Reply- 1.5K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic.

I might pay that to meet some people I find inspiring and quality people.00 Reply - 1.5K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic.
