Who remembers teen idol Shaun Cassidy?

IO was watching a TV show on Netflix called New Amsterdam, about a hospital in NYC. Anyway I noticed one of the producers was Shaun Cassidy. It brought back memories. He was the son of Jack Cassidy and Shirley Jones, both actors. He is half brother of David Cassidy from the Partridge Family. He kind of sounds feminine when he sings. He has like 8 children. History and nostalgia lesson over.

Oh yeah! He was also in the flop of a show called the Hardy Boys.

I remember the old Disney Hardy Boys, staring Tim Considine and Tommy Kirk from 1956. It was rerun many times since.

I'm about the same age as you and I remember the Partridge Family. I'm sure it is still in syndication someplace or other. Shaun's voice did seem kind of girly.

My sister was bonkers for Shaun Cassidy so I heard his songs over and over. She also adored Leif Garrett, Jimmy McNichol and Lance Kerwin.

Jimmy McNichol? Never knew he was a teen idol. But I remember Kristy McNichol.

Jimmy is Kristy's brother. He's an actor as well and he and Kristy put out some songs together in the late '70's. I believe their biggest hit was 'He's a Dancer'.
