They are fine, but out of all the flowers I like pink roses, they smell like my summer village,

and out of wild flowers, I like poppies.

Probably sometime in the past, I have looked at poppies and felt peace, because everytime when I am in a difficult situation, I feel peace when looking at poppies.

They are so weak, so gentle and yet so powerful.

Reminds me that even if my life gets too windy, I can stand my ground, if these little poppies can. So can I.

Poppy is my childhood nickname as well, because it resembles a bit to my first name. Everyone who has loved me has called me that at some point. (British pronunciation of Poppy)

When I was growing up, my mother had a tulip garden. As a little kid, I often helped her plant new tulip bulbs.

Tulips are lovely but I prefer them in gardens and plantings not as cut flowers.
