Wow you are a classic of your own annon , when I was 16 Sherbet and Skyhooks were huge , they both headed for the USA but sadly it didn't work out , in the same period I saw ACDC at the Beaumaris town hall , I was either 15 or 16 ..
Darryl Braithwaite , became eventually a legendary Solo performer , basically all stemming from one album , with songs like Horses , ( Thats the way its gonna be little darling ) , and some other tracks.
Shirley ( Skyhooks ) was killed in a hellicopter crash - Horror Movie / various other hits.
ACDC went on to become ACDC , great period for Aussie talent.
