Cartwheel or handstand- what is easier?

From a former gymnast of 9 years, cartwheels are way easier. If you add in to the factor of formation and control, handstands are harder than you may think. Some may say that cartwheels are basically handstands with a fancier starting and finish, but that is not true. A correct cartwheel is just about as hard and any cartwheel one inexperienced may try, and long as you are controlled. However, a correct handstand is far harder than an incorrect one. You may say that putting your hands on the ground and kicking your feet in the air is a handstand, when in fact it isn't. In order for it to qualify as a correct handstand, you would have to remain in the air, directly over your hands for at least 3 seconds, in the correct form. This is challenging for one who is out of fit.

definitely cartwheel. they dont require as much strength as handstands because the strength is spread all over, whereas in handstands ur supporting all ur weight on ur arms, and have to place ur legs in a vertical positions

Cartwheels are much easier for me. Handstands, not so much. lmao

I can do a cartwheel no problem but only when going to my left. I just can't do a handstand for more than like two seconds.

For me a cartwheel, the handstand uses more balance because you have to hold yourself up. While the cartwheel is easier because you move which helpsm

I have always thought a hand stand was easier. Being I can't do a cartwheel. lol haha
