Probably till the end since Ik what weapons are effective against a zombie how to not attract them and I would use other people for my own survival (almost anyone would) I also know good location that would have less zombies or would have none safe bet would also to just live on the sea since you can just fish and purify the salt water also probably form some sort of alliance since a lot of people would kill each other making also it would make everyones chance of survival much higher if they know what they doing if we needed to get food we would have a small group of people (5-6) go out to like gas station since a large group would cause to much noise another small group looking for weapons (blades, explosives, chemicals/acids guns and ammo guns just used to make them slower) another small group looking for materials others taking care of the injured (not zombie injuries we’ll kill the ones with that since they will just become a zombie) we’ll move from different cities and countries and eventually go to a place with a super los human population till we need to restock on food then we’ll probably come back obviously we’ll have shelters from every place we been anyways the survival rate of somethings like this is very high unless animals don’t just die but also turn into zombies then it decreases to like 5-10% or the zombies aren’t slow but can run at a higher pace then most humans also the remote place I’m talking about you can really get to other then by boat and even then almost no human even go there it’s going to be super easy to eradicate the zombies in that area also the amount of people we’ll take in is 30 max we don’t need more and it would be too hard to manage and feed more till much later on and since a lot of people will kill eachother and may try and enter that alliance it’s better to recruit people fast and don’t let it grow anymore also it wouldn’t be any average human it would be someone with a special skill we would need like cooking, a doctor, someone with nature skills, a few physically strong people, etc of course the survival chance when it just happens would be 30/70 since no one would know so if I survived that then yes I would survive pretty easily

Not many would survive very long. There would be bigger threats to our lives than just zombies.
A person would be better off living a subterranean life for about 6 months so that those that are not zombified right away, would kill each other off.
We wouldn’t survive long with the ensuing chaos from all the looters, rioters, meth heads and oxy addicts killing the rest of us.
So until all those desperate individuals die off or end up zombies themselves, those safely underground could emerge to then take on all those that were zombified.
I would fear the average criminal, with their semi and automatic weapons, more than a flesh hungry zombie.
Probably a year, because I live in a rural neighborhood. We have emergency food stocked up for hurricanes. And corpses usually rot faster in hotter climates. I live in FL 🌴. Honestly I’d probably survive the entire thing. Until it’s over with.
It rains almost every single day here.
Here temperatures reach 90s and sometimes over. I think all the zombies will be finished within a week. The alligators and the scavengers will get them before they even eat us.However I don’t doubt that the zombies would indeed infect and kill many people in crowded areas here. Disney SeaWorld, AirPort, Malls. When it’s rush hour 😆. We ARE one of the most overpopulated states after all.
These are the most populated areas of the United States 👇
And by the way. They said that the cure of 2020 💉 is what’s gonna turn everyone into a rabid zombie. So might as well get ready.
i would fair decently at first, how long? maybe a month or so. even though i have been through survival training, weapons training and all that in life-- really it doesn't give you a huge edge if you can't find weapons. survival would come in more handy, being hyper vigilante of your surroundings, finding safe place, but also needing stuff to drink before even food.
however, then having to deal with not only zombies, but my period but other human who are in crazy mode? eh a month sounds generous enough. though, i might just find an abandoned car, blast some ramones and floor it off a cliff in one day.
so anywhere from a day to a month

I honestly think this would be one of the easier things to survive. A dead, rotten corpse that’s slow and doesn’t really stalk its prey….. almost dumber than any animal currently on this planet. Yeah I don’t think it would be hard to avoid being bitten or infected. The movies overplay this danger so dramatically. Literally wrapping your forearms with magazines and duct tape would be enough to kill these things. The hordes of them would be easily dismantled with bombs or fires. I feel like most people with any sort of combat skills would do well.
As far as defending yourself against other humans looking to survive I don’t think it would really be a huge threat. Something on the lines of covid that are super contagious and more deadly are the things that I think would be almost impossible to survive.
2 years 8 months 3 weeks 4 days 10 hours 20 minutes and 18 seconds….
First thing I have going for me - I live in a small town two hours away from civilization, it would take months before the effects truly hit us.
Second- I am knowledgeable and resourceful in many things that would make me an asset to other humans instead of a hindrance.Well not long. My little bro already told me that if there was ever a zombie apocalypse he would just shoot me in the head. Like Before It even really got bad outside. He said Tesha you don't run fast and you can't climb so he was like I don't want to see my big sis get mauled by zombies and then turn into one.
I laughed so hard on the outside. But I cried a lot on the inside! Like damn at least let me try to make it 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😩🙄😮💨😭😭😭probably a couple weeks, or until all my food & water storage runs out and i die of starvation or dehydration. cos if that ever happened i'm staying locked inside, would be too much of a pussy to go looking for food outside or trying to associate with other survivors
If my family and friends were able to form a group of some sort where we watch out for each other, I think we might do pretty well, but if I was alone, I think I'd die on day 1 basically. Or some gang would make me a sex slave. My roommate in college insisted on watching The Walking Dead. I liked some of the characters but overall really hated the show.
I'd probably kill myself once I realise there's no hope for humanity.
I don't want to live in fear my whole life , that sounds so shit.
I'm also a person who depends on medication... Soooo whenever supplies run out id be pretty useless.
everybody likes to believe they are like one of the survivors in the movies or TV shows
but in all honesty, most people would end up being a member of the hordes
surviving in a zombie apocalypse goes beyond just avoiding the 99.99% of the undead population. it includes finding food, water, shelter, weapons and a place to piss and shit
Pretty well. I am a botanist, so I know which plants are edible and I know how to make effective snares so there is no gun going of to pinpoint your location.
I could live out in the middle of nowhere till the day I die.
A while. Lots of food, water and ammo here, with natural replenishment of the first two. Survival training, some other training from the government. Similar minded friends who can round out security in shifts.
Depends on where I’m at when the outbreak happens and if I can get home. If I can I could last at least a couple of months. Probably be more likely to die from exposure or an infection the longer I lasted.
Assuming nothing gets into my apartment I could last at least a few months with how much food/water I have if I ration it. Otherwise I would probably die almost immediately
3 Months minimum while I shelter in place, as I have food and water in my residence for those 3 months which will give me time to prep tools/weapons and my 'Go Bag' and stay in touch with other family by radio, after that time I'd move to join them in daylight, staying to main streets giving good open lines of sight.

The real question is how long would the zombie apocalypse survive ME?
Giving the fact I live behind a grave yard in a busy town I can't imagine id get see how long I'd survive
Let's see I have no skills in hunting or gardening which would be essential once the food runs out. I may last a while if I got with the right people. But as we've seen on the walking dead, it's the living we'll have to fear more than the dead.
I had three Covid shots so I would likely be one of the zombies when we start mutating. Does that count as "surviving"?
The same time it took Don XP
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Z3d7y1YrPvgI really don't know, i'll try my best to live as long as i can and try to find a safe place for me and the ones whi aren't infected, surrundering ain't my choice, i'll keep fighting till the end!
I'd probably be one of the first if I'm totally honest
Not long at all.
I'm so bad with horror and irl body horror shit.
