People reading voices tend to sound different to their normal speaking voices and I'm sure you can name actors who narrate well.
But when YOU have to read out something how do YOU sound?
My main goal is not to showcase my reading skills. Instead, I aim to provoke emotional responses from people by posting inflammatory and irrelevant comments online. But one time, my VPN subscription ran out and I couldn't do any trolling, so I downloaded "50 Shades of Gray" and read it out loud in my mom's basement. She never told me, but I knew she was listening, so I started reading it in this Sol Rosenberg voice, you know the old Jewish man. "I don’t make love. I fuck… hard, jerky. Secondly, there’s a lot more paperwork to do, and thirdly, you don’t yet know what you’re in for, tough guy. You could still run for the hills. Come, I want to show you my playroom.” I guess you could say I trolled my mom, but she can't exactly ban me from the basement.
I wished I sound like Morgan freeman... That man has a great voice... It captures you in no time... 😄😍 If he tells a storybook I can listen to it for hours...
But sadly I don't... It is like
Ladies and gentlemen.. " everybody is silent".. Me : uh uh. Uhm m. Uh... " silent too" 🤣
Pre-Covid, I was often asked to read during masses, in church.
Way back when I lived & worked in the Philippines, I often got on stage and revved up the crowds before introduction of election candidates.
Before closing online meetings on Microsoft Teams, I often hear my employees compliment me "Love your voice, boss!"
I think my reading voice sounds the same as my speaking voice but I don’t even like my speaking voice I think I sound a little childish and nasally

I've been told quite often I have a nice voice, including when I was interviewed on the radio once -so I reckon it's in the "melting butter drifting down a slow meandering river" category
unfortunately, yes...
and have always been asked/forced to read/speak at gatherings, events and stuff... ever since I learned to read around age 3/4
I have been told to have a very likable voice. However I don't like hearing my recorded voice.
Well, some people think I have a nice voice for voice acting, I did want to be an actor as well.. But I hardly read out loud in front of people, and I kinda stumbled over words sometimes..
I've been told I have a good voice for radio, if that counts.
That depends on which language it is.
As long as it's English or my native tongue ( 😜 ) people feel reasonably pleased.
Everybody tell me?
Yes, years ago I used to record radio ads that were played on air. I was told by the radio station that I should get in touch with them if I ever wanted to be on air.
I was told I have a few years ago so I'm following up and applying for voiceover work
I have been told it is pretty good. I don't think so though
I have a good reading voice, but occasionally I get tripped up on the words.
I have been told I have a radio voice. Tend not to believe it.
I get excited and go too fast.
A lot of people say I do
Oh no I sound like a 5 year old.
Yeah a baritone one
It has been said… 😔
