What is worse a drag queen invited to a children`s charity event or a exotic dancer/singer?

Where I live (not the USA) there is going to be a Telethon to raise funds for some Children Hospital and as part of the telethon entertainment the organizers were thinking in inviting a group of Drag Queens to entertain the audience, children and adults. The popular exotic dancer also was going to be part of the entertainemtn segment of the event. This dancer of course for the nature of her job is going to be dressed in naughty outfits and dance in a sensual manner.

The shows for those 2 "entertainers" is going to be aired at 2am, at a time children are supposed to be sleeping, the reason for those entertainers shows were going to be aired, so kids won't be watching their show, even if the whole Telethon is aimed to raise funds for a children related thing. The telethon will have different sections throughout the whole day: Kids segment, Toddlers segment, Youth segment and this adult segment that will air at 2am!!! The whole telethon is for raising funds for children like I said so at the venue teh telethon (24 hours) is going to take place there will be children at the audience and also adults. I dont know if at 2am there will be kids present with their respective parents at the venue in order to witness the "adult section of the Telethon".

Anyway due to pressure of the population, the Drag Queen group invitation was revoked and they are no longer participating in the Telethon but the exotic/dancer show still is in. The population do clarify that they are no denying this group help but if they want to raise money do their show somewhere else in another place where kids are not present. Help is help at the end but everything in due place, drag queens insist to be at the Telethon.

So in my city LGBT community is appauled this group invitation was revokedand they are complaining now and they say "they are not doing any harm because they just want to

help like everyone else in order to raise funds for the children and also they say besides "our show is at 2am".

They are also complaining saying that how come we won't be present but they keep the exotic dancer wearing skimpy clothes almost naked. The LGBT community says " double standard from our city society because they prefer a naked lady over a harmless show from our community" . Also the Drag Queens state that not all Drag Queens are gay, they can be straight men dressing like women

doing these entertaining shows period, is this true? They say that in Mexico Drag queens entertain children birthday parties and it is normal in Mexico to see that. in the USA is also normal for Drag Queens to entertain kids parties? I ask.
At the moment the organizers had not informed the country if the invitation will also be removed to the exotic dancer, so she still is in.
What are your thoughts?
NOTE: The exotic dancer show won't involve a pole, she only is going to sing, dance sensually.

This just proves that people don’t care to shield kids from sexuality but just the LGBT+
Now, I do find it strange to have adult acts such as an exotic dancer to raise money for children. But since it’s being shown at 2am, kids definitely won’t be watching anyways.
But if they’re gonna get rid of one act cause it’s inappropriate , then they should be getting rid of both of them.

I don’t think drag is inherently sexual or inappropriate for kids to see. Yeah a lot of drag shows have adult content but that’s because they’re usually in 18/21+ bars and clubs.
but if the act itself isn’t sexual, then I don’t think drag in front of children is inappropriate.

drag queen because kids will see a man looking like a woman and wonder what is going on. where as a stripper is pretty obvious it is a woman who is removing her clothes. neither should be at a children's charity but if 1 must go send the stripper rather than the person who is not mentally stable

Drag Queen is worse, since they are being something other than who they area. An exotic dancer is still who she is. Kids can understand the exotic dancer while they will get confused over the drag queens.

Soem of the LBGT communtiy whwere I live are so appauled they cannto participate in that event , they say they are not doing any harm cause the important thing is to donate for the children and the show is at 2am no kids are awake at that time according to them.

Since I did nto have more space to write there is an updated of this event. It seems other type of entertainers are allowed to participate. There will be some straight comedians that will do their shows dressed as women as part of their show too who tell jokes sometimes jokes of bad taste against women and the LBGT community say the country has double standard beause how come they allow to particpate those people and they are not allow for a Drag queen to participate too. The LBGT community is very upst at this Telethon organizers that are allowing other type of shows also not suitable for kids or population in general but they are not allowing drag queens due to some stupid beliefs.

How is it stupid? We don't want their mental unstable and mental illness spreading to our children, confusing them about their gender.

The comedians dress up like women for comedy, where the drag queens dress up to put on a show and encourage the kids to participate and do the same as them.

well the lgbt communityin my area believes according to them that drag queens only dance and dress up as women while straight men who dress up as women to do comedy shows some of the jokes they do make are agaisnt women or denigrate women ( i mean the comedians in my area)
