Paper is the best naturally. Feels good to hold, helps you to sleep, keeps your eyes from the phone rays, you can make a physical change to the book- like creases in the spine- to show how long you've had it, and you can store it so visitors know you're an intellectual (we all do it, let's be honest).
If there is the option to physically obtain a novel, I will. However since I'm an amateur author, I publish online and read other online works. If the novella hasn't been traditionally published then that's the only option for it. So either method has its own appeal
For me paper and kindle following (because taking kilograms of books when I travel doesn't work lol)
Paper except for reference manuals, which I usually have in pdf.
I guess it's paper due to not requiring a screen.

Pretty much all of them, I read physical books, on my kindle, on my phone and on my laptop and MacBook. Only on occasion I listen to audio books when doing chores or exercising.
Actually, for me, it's really a tablet. I download materials from a variety of places, not just Amazon
I am old school with everything, so it has to be paper.
Audible works for me. Granted I'm listening.
