For all the writers out there, what genre do you write in? Do you do traditonal publishing or self publishing?

The way I would answer this question is that I choose to play the long game and not the short game. The short game is to come up with a simple plan and method and generate a book in a few months. I know a niche that could make this possible. The long game is to come up with research that references other research that references other research that references other data and then generate conclusions that might be over three or six degrees funnelled and processed through intermediate players that qualify and alter the original product. The advantage to this technique is that it produces a more socially conditioned book that is able to accept varied nuances in the media and academic demographic of life. That is my methodology. I have enough ideas to keep me busy for over one hundred years.

I don't write "genre." I write upmarket literary fiction that has genre elements, but does not fit in any single category, and probably fits in almost ALL genre categories in one respect or another. But they do not follow established formulas and are unique.

Self-published. Big, naïve mistake.

I published only a few shorts in Polish fantasy magazines, the rest is in my virtual drawers :D

Usually, I write fanfiction, so I only post on AO3 (a website for fanfics).

And usually, I write romance stuff, maybe some fantasy in there as well at times. And I also write smut.
