So how about you? Do you write or perhaps draw or paint? Maybe some sort of other creative output?

Trending & News Both. My Bachelor Degree is in Communications and Visual Design, so I've created hundreds if not thousands of design solutions of all kinds, from handouts for church to writing and illustrating Fortune 100 Corporate Requests for Proposals, and everything in between. My strongest suit is Publication Graphics (where I actually won an award before I even got to college), next is realistic Product Rendering, and I'm decent at conventional painting (think landscapes, still-lifes, etc). My dad was better and my daughters are both better. I'm the third generation of five (so far) in Graphics in my family.
When I was younger, I never realized I had a penchant- and ability- for writing, but I'm glad I discovered it when I did. Now I help do pre-edits and edits for educational books for home schoolers.
I love the arts. Yeah I've dabbled in landscapes inn oil, Bob Ross, William Alexander style wet on wet technique. My heart is in music though. Started playing clarinet in the middle school band, evolved into choir and the a cappela group, then bought an acoustic steel string guitar during HS and started using books with chord charts to learn to play. Ended up moving to the Bay Area out in cali. To join up with friends and play, ended up playing bass (Fender Precision Bass) in a gigging blues/rock band... so I've been at the music stuff for quite awhile now.
I'm really only a writer when it comes to compiling lengthy reports and evidence... On the other hand, my husband being a architect is a very competent artist... Something we've already noticed our five year old little boy inheriting.
Gosh... Thank you so very much indeed @Ez-Bri-Z_v2 for the MHO. xxx
Writers, such as myself, Are considered BOTH. lol xxxxxxxxxxxoooooooo

I'm quite passionate about drawing and painting, particularly anime and cartoon styles! 🎨 My love for art started from a young age, inspired by all the films I watched. While I haven't dabbled much in writing, my aesthetic vision is well-developed through years of artistic practice and consuming art films. Creativity is such a wonderful outlet! 😊

There once was a gal named Bri,
Who didn't really know me
She did not know it
but I could be a poet
or a monkey sitting in a tree.
I like to write things because I see things in such an odd different way. I'm not an artist but I love creating and building things with my hands and I mean, I have some really good pieces of art that are just beautiful. I wish I could be way better but I don't take the time but when I'm building something or creating something. It turns out really really good
I write erotic fiction.
I started when I was under 18. I lied about my age to gain access to a certain popular site that specializes in amateur erotic literature. I've had several stories published and experienced a modicum of success.
It's something that is not commonly known about me within my circle of friends.
Beyond this I have several other artistic hobbies. Photography being one of them.
I like creative writing, but I have been spending too much of my free time gaming to actually complete a book. 1 is halfway ready to write, and another actually is ready for me to write, but playing games like FC that requires daily log ins and objectives really takes a toll on my available time.
I write, but I don't publish.
I am 'artsing' (kind of sculptures), but I keep it at home.
The only public output I have is due to work - I'm a ''creative naval architect' ...
... but my genius is misunderstood, and under-appreciated :D
I tried to be an artist when I was younger, my best friend in grade school had incredible talents for drawing ships mostly , im good at drawing if your into abstract. But writing , thats another horse. From the time I was 8 or 9 I read a lot , ( no tv where I was) and I think that helped, when ever I really need to say something ill start it in my head. , by the time I put pen to paper it just comes in a rush. But I've been complimented by teachers and others. For it.
I have a job writing for catalogs. I think I do decent work, but I would like to write more important things in the future, maybe go into journalism of some kind.
Not really, unfortunately I didn't inherit my dad's musical talent. My friends say I'm a good storyteller when I write some stuff or tell a story on person, but I don't impress myself much. Oh well, we all can't be a fucking Beethoven or Rembrandt
A writer and an artist never though that's not out of will, I wish I had such skill. Fiction is better than boring reality so it's my escape always.
More of a writer. I'm trying to find the time to actually work on some of my projects at some point.
I don’t have the patience to draw well, despite my desire to. I’m much better at painting pictures with words, anyway.
I craft and make things. I am a shit writer unfortunately.
Writer is more my thing but I did enjoy art when I was a kid. But was put off when I was given a D for a piece of work I thought was good.
I have done some writing, i play piano, and i occasionally write a song
I am both I write poetry and short story style poems. And I paint classically in several classic/traditional styles.
I write lyrics and compose music. However, most ideas are quickly scraped.
I try to write, but I suck at exegesis so my chapters are only a few pages long instead of like Robert Jordan chapters.
I always liked photography. Been practicing it since I was about 5 years old.
I have done quality illustration a few times.
I write pretty well, but usually about technical topics.
I can write better than I can draw. The bar is set pretty low.
I mostly blog and do creative writing, but I also dabble in sketching. Sometimes I watch shows or sports on streaming apps to get inspired and take a mental break.
More so an artist. Some people think I'd make a great writer for some reason
I do collaging, drawing and painting graphic design
i have always thought about being a writer someday. maybe itll happen
Depends on the day. I just don’t like maths books.
I have journalistic skills beyond my education.
I write songs and perform them, so both in a sense.
a bit of both, but just as hobbies, nothing special...
Writing, prose specifically. MG sister also writes, but she's more into poetry.
I used to write as a teen. I thought I was pretty good.
I'm an artist. I work mostly in the medium of urine. I'm a piss artist.
Simples...
A writer is an artist
Artist > writer
I write. I don’t publish but I write
I can do both not very well.
I done both they were so bad I never did it again
I write and I paint when I get a chance to
Yes. My art is music.
I’m not good at anything 💃
I’m an author of an urban fantasy series
Neither, but I like to write.
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 artist
