Writer here. I get complimented on my writing all the time. Or to be completely honest, the words that flow from my keyboard. My actual handwriting has steadily deteriorated over the years since I graduated from elementary school. Computers have wreaked havoc on handwriting across the planet, ROFL. In person I can be very quiet. Not shy, just not interested in engaging. Unless I'm with people I know and like.

I think I have a good balance of writing and speaking skills. I have been an attorney for 39 years, president of my church for 5 years, and president of my alumni association for 8 years, so I have been required to develop both sets of skills.

Most definitely a writer, but people have told me I have a podcaster voice on many occasions and I should start posting videos, so I did 😂

Still a way better writer though. I'm able to get all my thoughts out in an organized manner that doesn't actually sound like how I talk in person.

Tonality can convey a message with half the words it takes to put it in writing.


Sometimes I find myself writing long winded answers here on GAG but if asked the same question in person I would require a lot less explaining

Writer, although, when it comes to conversing, I'd prefer to do it verbally. The thing is, I don't HAVE anyone to talk with, especially now that my brand new phone no longer works! If it did, I could at LEAST call up my lovely girlfriend and talk with her on the phone!!
I've rarely ever had someone to talk to most of my life so, I'm just used to not having anyone and end up doing a LOT of writing to no one in particular.

I'm more of a writer, and I can be very creative.

For example, when writing a story:
The most important thing is to see the scenario from the third perspective, and then combine it with empathy - how would the characters in the story feel, how would they react, what would they do in certain situations.

I write better than I speak. I have time to think about what I say whereas talking is more instinctual and when I think over my words, I tend to stutter
