Do people even go to the movies anymore? why or why not?

Sometimes, like once or twice per year with my friends, when we wait for something. So, we wait for the last week it's available in cinemas, and we mostly have the whole place for ourselves. Then we usually go to eat something together and talk about our impressions and feelings related to the movie. Great time spent together
With all the shootings and stuff going on around movie theaters the cost of the movies tickets are not worth the high cost.. The cost of a movie I can have saved quite a bit per month for one movie ticket I can pay for a whole month subscription to some movie app, like Netflix, hulu, showtime and HBO. The cost me a monthly subscription. I can watch a program anytime I want and pause it anytime. On a monthly subscription.
Young people still go on movie dates and parents still bring their kids. It is expensive and most of the movies are really bad. I have not been to the movies in 4 years. They just opened a new cinema in town. It has recliners and a full bar. I think you can get din er as well. It costs a lot
Too damned expensive in UKk. Can't take your own snacks or drinks. Have to buy theirs at hugely inflated prices.

I still love the big screen and awesome sound although these days, I only go out of my way if I'm really, really hyped to see the film and it's the type that I think is best seen on the big screen (Top Gun: Maverick was the last one I saw).
I also live in a small Japanese home with my wife and we don't have space for such a large television or awesome speakers.
Love the screen name!
@MikeTheBartender It's actually one that popped up in a suggestion when I was trying to think up a name and finding many ones already taken. I didn't come up with it but I thought it was funny when I saw it suggested. 😂 I can't claim credit for coming up with it as a result. The site suggested it to me.
I enjoy going to the movies, but I also enjoy having abs. That being said I don't go too often, because when I do go I absolutely have to get popcorn, nachos, and soda. But for the right movie is worth it..
I prefer watching movies at home.
Meanwhile, I don't think movie theaters (like the ones in my neighborhood) are dangerous.
For big-screen action and comedies, the movie theater is always a great experience.
There's only one theater in the area I will visit. It has about 40 seats and is adults only.
I go. I still like seeing the big screen, the sound, and the overall experience.
I haven’t been since Barbenheimer, just haven’t gotten around to it in the last few months
What are they showing that’s any good?
Google is your friend
I'm afraid that if I Google, I still wouldn't find anything good lol.
No not really
I don't... too overpriced
