Is this a real view of the Elicips?

This is a real view at North Texas a few minutes ago the dark pic is it got so dark the camera could not take it.

It was really cool
What would you take on this if you was in the right spot?

I saw the total. It was pretty darn cool, but it didn't last long. I think if I had traveled a long distance and spent a lot of money, I would have been disappointed because it went so fast. But then if I traveled, I would have gone someplace where it lasted longer than where I was. I would have gone for max duration.

But since I could sit in my yard and watch, it was well worth it. A lot of neighbors were out and everyone started cheering and clapping the instant it went total. It got darker than I expected, and I could see a few planets and stars. It was not completely dark - maybe almost as dark as night time with a full moon.

I think it was around 2:20 for me. I had a friend about a 20 minute drive from me who was watching it. I thought about going there to watch. Just going that distance was 40 seconds longer.
