The question is could I live without the Internet.

I don't watch TV anymore as the Internet provides all the entertainment options one could want. I have 75" TVs that have never actually used to watch TV on, but I stream or use them as monitors for my laptop. Also without the Internet I couldn't make an income.

In thinking about Television devices this way we should consider changing the name of TV to Streaming Monitors (SM). As odd as it sounds maybe it will catch on.

My wife and I actually live without television. We watch movies together on my computer monitor sometimes (I have a big one -- "that's what she said") but we don't have cable or whatever they do nowadays. I just rent disc from Video Rental store and we watch it together.

I don't like t. v. the way I did as a kid. I only like high quality movies and less than 3% of Netflix meets the quality you would find in a modern theatre. That means that 95% of the movies I choose will get rejected for being bad quality.

I pretty much am already. I do stream ESPN+ though for the sports league that I follow, the National Lacrosse League.

When you say “without a television” do you mean the actual device itself or do you mean television shows?

I always have. I didn't even watch TV till I was 12, and I hated it, so didn't watch it again for a very long time.

I have a 60" one but I rarely use it as a television I use it more as a screen for my laptop to do work from home or watch movies from my laptop.
