I much prefer a physical copy, I want to own what I own. I don’t want kindle to change the edition at the last second, nor do I want to rely on electronic lighting to read my book. With physical media dying out and everything going digital, I much prefer to have my favorite things in my house. Like dvds of an old anime, you can’t stream it anywhere anymore, but at least I can watch it at home.
I mostly read digital. I only buy books to specifically support a writing and author. Most of the time I have already read the book I am buying. Its also good to lend books I recomend to other people.
The few print books I read the first time in print are from used book sellers mostly from fleemarkets.
Digital mainly, both for kindle and audio books. The last physical book I bought fell to bit under the sun in Qatar, the glue melted on the back and all the pages become loose. Also travelling, a physical book gets read in a day or two and then is just extra weight, that means taking about 5 books just to get through an overseas short trip. For 6 months it’s completely impractical.
I think everyone prefers a physical copy and flipping through the pages, but for practicality, I believe that digital copies are better. While it would be a luxury to have a bookshelf with all of the physical copies of my favourite books, I am good with digital copies until that becomes the next thing to get on my list.
There's something truly magical about holding a physical book in your hands 📚. The texture of the pages, the smell of the ink, and the satisfaction of turning each page is an experience that digital formats just can’t replicate. But I must admit, digital copies have their perks too! They're super convenient, especially when traveling or commuting. Plus, you can carry an entire library in your pocket. Personally, I like to mix it up. I enjoy my physical books when I'm at home, but I always have a few audiobooks and eBooks ready for when I'm on the go. It really depends on your lifestyle and preferences. Happy reading! 😊

I've had several e-readers and kindles. They are great for traveling or just carrying around in a back pack if you want to read for a few minutes during your day.
However, I still prefer books. I have gone as far as reading a book on Kindle that I really enjoyed and then went and bought the book, just because I want it on my bookshelf.
I prefer physical books cause it feels more natural but I usually read digital books cause they are cheaper and its easier to take notes with a digital book cause I just take a screen shot and then cut and paste what I need.
Mainly these days, audio because I'm always out and about or doing something. It's much easier to throw earbuds in and do chores or workout or drive while listening to an audiobook.
A real book will always be better but I’m not some cringe factory who despises digital books just because I’m old or something. I don’t mind using digital
I use both, I just need to get my hands on a book. lol.
Mostly physical books, but some manga I read online.
Only exception is research papers, most of those are read online, but those are hardly books, and aren't readily available in physical form.
Having a bunch of epubs on my phone is way more convenient that logging around even a single book. Though, if I am at home, I do prefer physical copies.
While I like a physical copy, if digital is cheaper, I'm probably getting a cheaper copy
Both. Reference books I prefer digitally for easy searching. Otherwise I prefer paper.
Digital. Because I have no place to save tons of books.
I download the digitals first, if I like it I buy the physical copy.
I do read physical, but I do want an e-reader for books that the book shops in my country are not getting.
I like solid copies from favoured authors.
I like it physical...
Digital I read Wattpad
Physical copy. Maybe because I grew up with books.
