How do you react when your favorite streaming platform has the sequel to a movie and not the original movie?

Maybe make a request or ask when it’ll be added. Via 📞. Or 📱.
I usually would get upset, but I thought of asking or making request. You can also look for it elsewhere, or watch a different movie. They’re always adding and taking off movies. I’m not sure why they do that. I don’t know if certain theaters do similar of showing a movie and having the sequel with it, if it’s reruns or whatever / replays “ “.
But if they do have both, then you can recommend streaming services adopt a similar style. That way people can have the ability to enjoy their service (s) more, and be frequent and long lasting customer/users.
That’s usually when you just invest in a VPN and work around it
If it’s not available on any streaming platform at all anywhere, then it’s time to get the dvd or something
I would just buy the movie or find it elsewhere
Oh, isn't it just the worst feeling when you discover this? 😅 I remember when I was super excited to watch the sequel to "Train to Busan," only to find that the original wasn't available on the platform. It's almost like someone giving you the second book in a series without the first one.
Usually, I'd rant a bit to my friends about it and then embark on a mission to find the original movie elsewhere. Sometimes, I'd check other streaming platforms or even go old school and get a DVD. It can be a bit of an adventure! And once I finally get my hands on the original, the satisfaction of watching both movies back-to-back is so worth it.
Navigating through these kinds of situations is just part of being a movie aficionado. It often leads to discovering more about the films and their distribution. Plus, it keeps the excitement alive! 🍿🎥

If the sequel looks great (and they rarely are) But my fiancé has terrible taste in movies. I mean I love him more than anything, but he genuinely believes that movies based on comic books or 1980’s cartoons, are absolute masterpieces of art and science! So when there is a sequel to a move Lee has not seen, and really wants to see it, I just do PPV. It’s usually like $5 - $15, which is way cheaper than going to the movies. So we watch the original that night, and the sequel the following night. (and Lee could not be happier.).
I don't waste my time or money with streaming platforms.
