The Princess Bride, of course. "There's a shortage of perfect movies in the world"... and it's a perfect movie.

Kingdom of Heaven and Gladiator are neck and neck.

Cyrano with Peter Dinklage. It's so over-the-top and sappy, but I love it. My favorite scene is the balcony scene, naturally. I love the duet.

Life is Beautiful (Italian film)

Yentl with Barbra Streisand. It's hilarious, awkward and heartbreaking (and it's not a gay film, no matter what anyone says).

My top TV series is either Sherlock (BBC) or The Musketeers (BBC). I love the dynamics between the characters.

@massb I forgot one of my favorites. The Man from Snowy River is a great coming-of-age movie. Love that film!

@massb Although, the films I listed aren't only fantasy and romance. There's some romance in them, but I like adventure, suspense, comedy, history, medical, fiction and sci-fi. Hidden Figures, Gifted Hands, and Concussion are also great movies. I was just listing my favs.

Man, with all the movies I've seen that were so good I can't begin without feeling I'm leaving so many better ones out. The old movies from the 40s. The old gangster movies. Old British movies I can't recall the title of. I like those you picked except holes. I never seen it. I've seen Remember the Titans about 3 or 4 times. It's sad and based on true events. But it's a great show.

Yep. He and that black guy reminded me of my friend Hunter. He died in 2011 at 51 from lung 'C'. He was my best friend since 1995. We worked together and chased girls, drank, and hung out nearly every day until I had to move e back to help my mom care for my dad. I still traveled back to see him as often as I could until 2007. Then, with both my parents gone, I worked out of state a few years.
