I was 10 years old when the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. They blew my socks off. My younger sister and I started buying all their albums. And we were excited to see A Hard Day's Night and Help when they opened in theaters.
McCartney had the best voice by far. I didn't initially realize that he did the lead vocals on many of their recorded songs. On early Beatles songs, his scream was what drove girls crazy. And his high harmonies were superb.
I was never into guys, but he seemed the cutest of the three.
I liked him a lot, but I also loved George Harrison's guitar work. It was he who inspired me to learn guitar. I wanted to be George Harrison.
I was less drawn to Lennon, even though he was supposedly the leader.
And Ringo seemed like a goof ball, but he had a cool personality and I later came to realize what a great drummer he was. He was responsible for the Beatles' unique beat.
Your welcome
Sir McCartney has always been my favorite singing Beatle.
Thanks for MHO
Your welcome
Choosing a favorite Beatle is challenging because each brought something unique to the band. Personally, I admire John Lennon for his profound and introspective songwriting. His ability to blend music with messages of peace and love really resonates with me. His influence on the world of music and culture is undeniable, and his artistry continues to inspire many. 🎸✨

Probably Paul McCartney honestly. I feel like he's by far the most iconic Beatles member. I always felt he was the "main character" of the Beatles so to speak, even though in real life there aren't really main characters. Ringo was easily the least iconic. Lennon the second most iconic. And George the third most iconic. I could be wrong, obviously, but that's how I've always seen it. Also probably helps that Paul and Ringo are still alive, but Paul being way more iconic than him.
McCartney was the most prolific songwriter, but so much of his work is turgid, sappy nonsense, but very underrated bass player just the same. Harrison didn't do much, people rave about his album “All Things Must Pass” but it is a triple album and 75% of it is forgettable in my opinion. Lennon was hit-and-miss for most of his career and Ringo, yeah well, not much to talk about there.
Clearly it's John Lennon. Paul was good, Billy Shears maybe even a little better than the real Paul, George Harrison not far behind. Ring Starr, underrated drummer, overrated singer.
