But when you hear the word giant, what's the first image that springs to mind?

The mere mention of these towering beings has my mind wandering into a realm of fantastical debauchery. When I think "giant," I think of a huge lustful creature, towering over me with immense power and a hunger for pleasure that only I can satisfy. As I start jacking my beanstalk, I picture a colossal, muscular giantess, her massive, ripe breasts, her nipples like massive boulders.
I'm but her tiny plaything, at the mercy of her colossal fingers and insatiable appetite. Her thunderous laughter echoes as she cradles me in her palm, her warm breath sending shivers down my spine. I'm tossed around like a ragdoll, her every touch electrifying, as I'm devoured by her overpowering presence. As I hit the flesh flute, I imagine myself scaling her body, exploring every inch of her cavernous orifices, like a tourist at the Grand Canyon.
I fantasize about being smothered in her colossal vagina, my face drowning in a sea of warmth and scent, as I coat her giant curves with my eager seed. I'm like a minuscule conqueror, determined to leave my coom on the towering titan of desire with my tiny penis.
Maybe not in the context you meant, but when I think of giants, the first images I get in my mind are... dinosaurs... In for instance the Bible and Homer's Odyssey, there are hints about giants having walked around on this planet, and I can't help but think of distorted transmitted legends based on creatures having really existed.
Think for instance of dinosaurs, the well known tyrannosaurus and the brontosaurus, the first thinking of you as its next meal, and the other you'd better stay out of the way because it's not giving a damn whether you're there or not...
The truth is often more amazing than the wildest imaginations.
The word giant to me makes me think of more realistic human beings that are a few feet taller than the average person and in my experience the phrase "gentle giant" has always been apt. Giants are friendly and good!
The Iron Giant & The Big Friendly Giant were some of my favourite stories growing up. So - I'd go for good.
When I hear the word "giant," my mind often drifts to the realms of fantasy and fairy tales, where giants are larger-than-life creatures with varied moral standings. The image that usually springs to mind is a benevolent giant, like the one in "The BFG" by Roald Dahl, whose kindness and protective nature shine through his towering frame. They encapsulate the idea that appearances can be deceiving, reminding us to look beyond the exterior. 😄📚

Said A. My first thoughts are of the Jotunn, while not necessarily all giants Surtr and Hel are said to be the rulers of Nifflheim and Muspelheim. Surtr will ride to kill Freyr at Ragnarok and Hel while having no outright role in Ragnarok is siblings to the other ~1/2 giants that come to destroy Midgard. Jormungandr will strike down Thor and Fenrir will devour the Sun (and kill Odin.) So I'm not a great fan of them.
Then I remember Ymir who's brains were split open to become our clouds. His blood spilt too become our oceans. His bones broken to form the mountains. His skull hewn to hold up the heavens. I'm thankful for his sacrifice.
Lastly, I think of Kimya Dawson.

She's hot, mad, and later I learned... maybe PMSing!

How do you stop men from straying in the 1950s? Your answer is your daily double...
no pun intended!
The first idea crossing my mind is about giants as seen in GoT, I didn't really examine this topic but... In what I see, they would form a fantasy race following human principles, they would be governed by nature and culture, so in that sense they can't be, in essence, good or bad. They just exist.
Easy: When I hear the word giant, i will think of someone who doesn't fit in a normal bed and will constantly complain that the blanket is too small...
Giants are regular people who had a huge growth spurt.
The 2022 film Troll is about a giant rock creature in Norway who is just trying to protect his mountain.
Not last year. Their record was 80 wins, 82 losses.
The giant I knew wasn't a monster; he was a softie.
I'll go with ''Ruebezahl'' - the tales show him being both, good and bad - depending on certain situations.
Fi Fi Fo Fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman.
Bad unless you have the right ally.
The flood
Noah. And the ark
And it just rained here for 5 days hard I mean really hard I can't imagine 150 days of hard rain
The image that comes to mind it's pretty neutral;but personally I consider giants positive figures
The giants are a really really bad football team. Which I sometimes wish I didn't follow but yet I do. And it is all far too real and frightening.
Giants are bad... like, practically the worst team in the NFL. They went 3-14 and no team finished with a worse record than that.
The first image that springs to mind when I think of Giants is a really pitiful New York football team. :)
Goliath in the Bible was a bad giant 9 feet tall.
I guess good based on my visions right now. The bad ones seemed frozen.
C) Depends on individual giant, some of them are good, some of them are bad, just like humans. I guess most of them are neutral.
My thought would be pic 1
That's Brân the blessed, a giant king that once ruled the UK. Generally considered a good giant.
They can be sleeping giants. They can be nice and helpful but don't upset them.
The NFL Giants suck;the MLB Giants are supposed to be OK in '25.
Good and Bad in Roald Dahl's BFG.
