Why do people get mad when Deadpool kills but not Wolverine?

Deadpool and Wolverine have been iconic characters in the Marvel universe since their debut in Incredible Hulk #180 (Wolverine) and New Mutants #98 (Deadpool). Their real names are Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and Logan Howlett (Wolverine). And they aren't that different from each other. Both are characters you wouldn't wanna get on the bad side of. Both are extremely violent. Both are meant to be from Canada (which was only made better when Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool). Both have accelerated healing factors. And both tend to kill more than the bad guys do. However one thing I don't understand is people get mad when Deadpool kills people (case in point see Deadpool 2) but not Wolverine. So why is that
