I would say the current decade has the worst music. It is not bad instrumentally or aesthetically but lyrically. I had a dream where God told me not to listen to music with bad lyrics because when you absorb bad lyrics, you absorb bad luck. It's why I listen to Jewish music even though I do not understand Hebrew. And even religious music isn't safe from negative lyrics, because the people who wrote those songs might make theological errors when they craft the songs.
