We dont' think about what a small portion of our brain we use. (Think about what we see here from some on GAG?) Talk about absolute power and the ability to control things with our brain power. I was watched it several times and always am amazed at the possibilities of having 100% use of our brain.

We actually do use all of our Brain!.

It's just we Don't use it 😅 all of that at one time, some part is active when sleeping, some part is active when walking or running, some part is active when talking..

You cannot use it all at same time because you cannot be Sleeping and Running while Eating and crying all at the same time!..

Different part of brain Light up at different activities we perform..

Some part of brain stores memory, other is developed to see patterns and detect anything suspicious, like a 6th sense! Although memory isn't just stored in brain, it's also stores in nerve tissue in heart in spine and throughout our body!

Brain is Just a GOOPBALL of Fats and lipids, that a secondary enhanced nervous system, which is designed to understand and learn the environment and teach the remaining nervous system on how to Quickly react.. for survival..

What they showed in LUCY was exaggeration that's not possible at least not by normal human body!..

Even if you pushed your brain by +5% You will enter a state of Chronic Schizophrenia and Basically Burn your entire nervous system and all your sense will go Haywire!..

Following which you will either need Anti-psychotic to be stabilized or if you pushed +10% You will Shut down your Heart, Basically you will killing yourself by overwhelming your nervous system which will crash and on which your Circulator system and all other basic survival system of body like, immune system & Digestive system depends.. You could trigger auto-immune diseases in yourself, your Immune system could attempt to kill your eyes and make you blind, also your immune system could attack your brain, Killing you. And it will be over before doctors could diagnose, What wrong with you!..

Lucy is an interesting Movie, it's a piece of Fiction that Explains the Concept of "Moksha" that Thing that Gautam Buddha achieved and upon which foundation of BUDDHISM Is set..

Although they did not lie in the movie, about the final state, Homeostasis of that level will take an Individual Decades before they can achieve anything, that too at accelerated learning.

But if any ordinary human tried to push in that direction, 99.99% chance they will end up dying or becoming a mental patient in matter of days!

Their are Some Yogi Gurus in Himalayas mountains who will barely wear anything and sit in freezing cold of negative degree Celsius temperature 🌡️, they Bath in freezing water, their body has achieved certain level of internal regulations that they live in a state where ordinary human will die in matter of hours from cold..

Similarly some other Yogi are known to drop their heart beat to very low levels and still not die, while some Yogi can Increase and decrease their internal Body temperate, if they suffer from any sickness they Kill the infection by raising and reducing their internal Body temperate.

Some Yogi can enter a state of Super oxygen, where their bodies Oxygen levels are way above normal, if they want for a while to help them during sickness or long walk!..

These are some example that are observed and denoted scientifically, anything more than that will take much longer time and could also kill the person.

We do have 100% use or near enough. The brain is incredibly energy hungry and we simply wouldn't maintain it if it wasn't being fully used. Of course not all of it is being used to think, there's a lot of background processing going on. If we did use it all for thinking then we'd need an extra brain for that.

The real problem is people aren't taught how to think, they're taught what to think.

@purplepoppy Different areas process different things, breathing, sight, hearing, movement of limbs... that doesn't mean we USE those parts... The brain processes all of those autonomous, functions that we don't control... breathing for instance.

@Bricealan I mean Scarlett is supposed to be the smartest person ever but when they're being pursued by police she makes bollards grow out of the ground to make them crash which a) is impossible, and b) why didn't she just stop the engine and save risking the lives of innocent people?
