That person might enjoy Australia. We are an immigrant nation. I think something like a third weren't born here. BUT it is controlled immigration.

That is the critical point. Uncontrolled immigration is resented everywhere and it does in fact impoverish the countries citizens and illegal immigrants frequently don't integrate.

The Left wanted open borders. We had to give them several good kickings in the head at elections before they understood we were serious.

As soon as an illegal immigrant mars one of our pristine Northern beaches with a foot print, they are whisked off to the island of Nauru where they can then make applications for immigration/asylum on an equal basis as everybody else seeking to become an Australian. The can also choose to go back to where they came from. Up to them.

It is better than being taken by the salt water crocodiles that patrol the North. Or wandering the desert without water if they escape the crocs. So they should be happy with going to Nauru really. They get to live.

So lots of legal migration but no illegal immigration. Other than a few crazy Lefts, this has universal endorsement.

Well this billboard isn't being clear enough for me. Immigrants who came here the right way, following the laws of the country their living in I have no problem with. however those who didn't come the right way, breaking the laws of the country their living in got to go.

I agree. I'm a mixed guy myself and my parents were immigrants from Trinidad and Tobago to Canada back in like the 1980s. But we assimilated and integrated with the culture. We're respectful and don't trash the country. It helps my family is mostly Christian and Catholic (although I consider myself agnostic).

The issue many 1st world countries have is they let in too many immigrants. It's to the point where the immigrants feel like the majority now. And the new immigrants seem to not integrate or have respect. Crime rates have went up across the board globally, and there's one common factor... the immigrants.

Right now, I'd join the protests for anti-immigration.

Well, you can't immigrate (move to) a country that doesn't take (allow) immigration.

This sign if it's legit is playing to one's feelings on the whole immigration problem throughout the world. Legal immigration isn't the problem it's illegal immigration. The US isn't the only country with this problem, Canada, the UK, and most of the European Union are being overrun by illegals.

Think about this for a moment. Your house has doors and walls to keep those who don't belong out, borders act as walls for a Nation.

If they are like most of Europe, they are tired of Muslim immigrants who believe it is their right to rape scantily dressed young females. Even more, the people are tired of their rulers holding the immigrants to a low standard of behavior while having high standards for white citizens.

This is what happens when a country becomes poor. People become nazis. It is what it is. Openness is only possible when wealth is high enough. If wealth is low, people will see foreigners as a threat ad they will wanna care "for themself" first. And that'll quickly turn into hate against foreigners. Can't help it. Its a contradiction. To live in another country makes you an immigrant. As an immigrant to moce to a country that doesn't accept immigrants would mean tgey wouldn't accept you.

I feel the same to an extent. I live in the US. I don't care if someone comes here legally and gains citizenship, in fact I welcome it, and race is irrelevant.. What I can't stand are the ones that come here illegally.
