st problem: The tiger would have hit fury first. It was the lead tank and a 76 mm gun which could punch through the tiger's armour at a greater range so it was the biggest threat.
nd problem: The tiger tried to close the distance. This makes no sense since it's more powerful gun gave it the advantage at range.
rd problem: The tiger fired while on the move. Unlike the Shermans, the gun didn't have a gyro stabilizer so only the most experienced tank crews could fire on the move.
th problem: The tiger tank was seemingly unphased when it got hit. While the 75 mm guns couldn't penetrate its' frontal armour at those ranges, the shockwave would have disoriented the crew for 5-8 seconds. This would have briefly caused it to stop and no way it could get an accurate shot right after a hit @ 2:31.
th problem: Once the Fury got within 500 yards of the tiger, it's main gun could penetrate the frontal armour and it wouldn't have to get behind it to knock it out.
th problem: Fury was still operational after a direct hit from an 88 mm. While this did happen it was very rare that a Sherman could keep fighting after a hit like that.
