To get her to fall for him and to be interested in him and want to have sex with him. Unfortunately there are a lot of high maintenance girls’ out there that will only be into a guy, that she is impressed with , by his status and the money in his wallet, the car that he drives , the house that he lives in , his career etc.. Most girls’ are very vulnerable to men like that , because she wants to be with a guy that she can depend on to take care of her , so she can have a luxurious lifestyle thinking money and status is the most important thing , and pretty much overlooking the true meaning of being in a relationship with someone , thinking status is everything, when really it means shit , why a lot of these high status couples end up cheating on each other and having affairs on each other because they got into a relationship for all the wrong reasons. People that think money and status brings love and happiness into a relationship are not very wise people whatsoever, most of them end up miserable and unhappy when they realize that there is a lot more to love other than money and status and realize they got into a relationship with someone for the wrong reasons. When I hear high maintenance girls’ talk to their friends’ about men , most of them say to each other , I want to be with him because he has money not because he has a good heart and good personality, just money , and then she will say I will spread my
Legs for him because of that reason. Guys’ on the other hand are just thinking with their dicks over anything else , thinking she is hot and beautiful , so I want to fuck her , overlooking the fact that she is just into him for his money , so guys’ can be just as dumb as well that fall for girls’ that are like that. So the both of them rush into a relationship, and then move in together , and before you know it , they realize they actually hate each other because the only thing they have in common is sex and little does he realize she is draining his bank account with her buying habits and only wanting expensive things and he will allow this to happen because she is keeping his dick wet. And why he is at work, she will end up screwing the pool boy ,’or the mail man or the coach of her kids’sports team etc.. because she realized money isn’t everything , and that her husband treats her like shit , the husband on the other hand is banging his secretary or escorts he pays for behind his wife’s back. I have witnessed this and experienced this with couples plenty of times , I been the other guy a few times without realizing I was. Why I no longer rush into relationships with girls’ because of shit like this

First, we all guys and girls generally become more concious around people we love or care about.
Not that I want to impress her, but girls do test men by nature. So I have to be "worthy". And surely if someone knows they are not worthy -almost all know themselves-, then just "impress" in whatever way or manner would be the case; cheap.
Otherwise, I really want the girl I like -not currently there- to see my strength points and acknowledge them or at least know that I have something to do and she doesn't mind me putting my life into it.
I hope it makes sense 😶.

Not impressing her, but a girl I like or love is really something big and very important to me.
That's my personal take.

Plus, would it be due to any external sources of promotion or advertising? since I don't really follow or consume or expose myself to any of it.
If I may ask, what makes you ask this question? I mean isn't it a good thing after all 🤔. Or did you mean those doing it the cheap way only as in a luxurious car or muscles.. etc.

Extensive psychological and sociological studies indicate that guys are just goofy, so like most members of any males across various species, they do something to puff themselves up so a gal will notice them. Is it silly? Yes. Is it funny? It can be, but not always. Is it necessary? For them, sure.

Trade secret? If the gal is worth it to him he'll fly to the moon and back for her... and sometimes even if the girl isn't worth it. Because guys have the little goofy braincell that says "MINE! Go get that" and everything else shuts down. It's a medical marvel.

Society has brainwashed people into assuming some things are normal? If I want to date someone ill introduce myself, try to talk with them, etc... Apps have made it to convenient that if she doesn't like something small, she just glosses over the good parts about him, because "oh well, terrible haircut NEXT" "I don't like his color eyes! This MIGHT be the reason why men go over seas with a passport for a chance at dating beautiful women that speak multiple languages with multiple degrees, good traditional backgrounds. Any normal guy here (USA) 18+ gets basically no replies. If they get responses its an internal bot working for Tinder, or Bumble that's meant to engage people before they pay and after they quit. Or the person is Aura farming for their IG account (s). Then get mad if the guy they don't want ends up sliding into their DM's. 99% of men are just invisible to most women. Also hard to be a homeowner when most homes go to the woman because of divorce and a biased legal system.

Maybe from now on fathers should raise their sons, nephews to believe they're princes and kings in order to equalize the growing number of princesses. I have no tattoos, piercings and that's what I look for too. My body count is 0

This question is very disingenuous coming from a woman, the gender who spends huge amounts of money and hours preparing for a date, trying to look as "cute" as they can.

Women are clearly romantically and sexually drawn to men who impress them. Women apparently just don't want to feel like a man is trying to impress them, just like men don't want to see you in front of your bathroom mirror with curlers in your hair and all that expensive "product" on your face, or watch you putting the padding in your braw.

No clue as to what you're talking about. I can't think of a time outside of being a teenager where i've tried to impress a woman.

Maybe you're confusing it with men attempting to SEPARATE themselves from other men. Now some guys might say or do things that might APPEAR he's trying to impress her, and all he's really trying to do is say, "All those other guys are cookie cutter. I'm the guy you want to focus on".

Even though mating is not the main reason anymore, with social mores now defining make-female interaction, that is still an instinctive driving factor in males. And since females are selective (a biologic remnant since they only have one egg per month), males have to try to impress females.
