I think society and movies have made it so they feel like every woman deserves a prince charming.

That's fine though, the elite level guys who have it all are taken anyway and are also few and far between and there's no way they're going to date someone who doesn't even pass the looks test or a single mum, etc.

Women seldom use the same logic you and I do. They use "women logic". Which gives heavier weight to their feelings. It's the same reason why they choose dubious men and after it crashes and burns they keep giving him another shot. Because their feelings override their logic.
