Do famous people get a free pass to dress badly in fancy places?

For instance lets say a famous person (movie star, musician, singer) visit a fancy chic restaurant, but the famous person has some holes in his t shirt, a tiny hole but it is noticeable and still he can get inside. A friend of mine told me that regardless if the famous person wears terrible, famous people alway sget a free pass. So then I ask myself. dressing accordingly no matter if you dress simple, does not mean you have to be sloopy even if you have money.

It's hard to think of things rich famous people don't get a pass for, since people want their money or just to tell people they ate there. Laws usually don't apply to them either. It has its irritations but plenty of priviledges in there too
