One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. Walter Winchell
Friendship is one of the best aspects of life. In the context of our modern society, the term “friend” is often used to describe contacts rather than relationships. Friendships can be among the most rewarding and the most frustrating relationships in our lives. True friendship is characterized by love. A true friend loves, gives wise counsel, remains loyal, forgives, and promotes the other's welfare. True friends are people you can go for anything for the other. You know they will always be on your side, through thick and thin.
We need meaningful connections with other people. We can be great friends to each other, despite the distance, if we choose to make the effort. If we remember to make the time, we can have those types of meaningful, fulfilling conversations that make us feel seen, understood, appreciated, and supported.
Imagine a world without friends. A good friend is worth more than gold. A good friend accepts you just the way you are and never says goodbye. He knows your secrets and your limitation. He gives a lending hand in times of need. He watches your back and tells you when you are off the line.
The picture of a true Friend is captured in a poet titled “for a true friend”
There is a page on my mind, on this page is the beautiful story of you Painted in bright and beautiful colors
Memories of you bring these stories to life
The good and difficult moments, made our friendship stronger
You stood by me at all times
Oh what joy! You brought to my life
Thank you for being a true friend
